Also when applying do not directly apply to the lcd kay mas dali maka guba.

Ako I have 1-2 years LCD ako ra jud gi buhat kay ni tagam nako anang limpyohan nga gamitan ug kusog jud..what I usually do kay naa mangud apil plastic protector sa LCD pag palit mao ako gi permanently ug attached niya I cover almost the entire side for a transparent tape and sometimes ra limpyohan kay di man dali ma sudlan ug abog sa sulod if hugaw na jud I used smooth brush on it.

@TS: I still prefer for glossy. Depende rana sa pag amping kay ma matte or glossy ma garas gihapon.
2 years naman ni. no signs of dying yet (damn!). i plan to switch to a 22-inch once this dies, though.

Glossy, sexy look. Although problem kaayo ang scratches and dirt/dust. The scratch problem is irreversible pud.

I had my lessons on using correct substances on cleaning devices and you should always double check if that substance is the correct one. I messed a part of the glossy finish of my Samsung 17 inch monitor when i thought i was pouring gas to get rid of the adhesive thingy from the screen protector. When I noticed the problem, i checked the substance and it was acetone

hehehe, tsk tsk. how can you mistake the smell of acetone for kerosene, bro?

i go for matte... easy to maintain... suites me best because i'm not fond of cleaning...

anyway for scratches on LCD you can use "TOOTHPASTE".
It fades the small scratches and minimizes the big ones.

i don't recommend using alcohol. Very less iya viscosity, you might mistakenly pour it on.
