CocoPlans with DATAMEX scholarship - scam or not

hey guys! I got the same call from a certain John Franco from Cocoplans and said the same thing. Someone referred me for their raffle and I'm one of the 20 winners in Cebu for the month of November-December. I checked their office at CP Center but didnt present my Id's yet but they never mentioned about bringing credit cards, but did say "bank cards" for signature specimen reference. I decided to look up on it before claiming the so called certificate prizes. Now I don't know if I will claim it or not... I wonder kinsa lain ang nakadawat ani na prize if its just 20 persons in Cebu. And saying its just their way of promoting Cocoplans instead of advertising over media. The scholarship isnt specific though, they said pwede sad sa AMA, ACT etc and its transferrable. hmmm. thanks for this thread though.

im also one of the lucky 20 winners nga na scam ani, hehehehe
im very happy cuz of all d people in the world im included and entitled to have an educational plan at Datamex. wala ko nakatulog ato nga time thinking that how lucky i am.

But then pila may sugilanon ako gipa enroll akong brother sa datamex, at first wala pa nako gipakita sa taga datamex ang coupon (educational plan daw gikan sa prudential), then gitagan ko sa total bayronon sa course nga gusto kuhaon sa akong brother.

After ato, ako cya gipakita sa coupon para may nalang maka kuha ko ug discount sa bayroron sa skwelahan. pro sad to say wala gwud diay gamit to nga eduacational plan. same ra gihapon akong nabayran, pag ka dakong scam man diay ato.

wala nalang sad hinoon ko nakatulog pagkahoman ato, cgeg huna2x. paeta....

pero bisan paman gipa enroll nalang nako ug dayon akong brother, may nalang at least datamex gihapon.

try lang ninyo pa evaluate sa datamex ang scholarship kay ingon to sila evalute pa sa school.

I also got a text message to day saying the Cocoplans, Inc. is celebrating its 15th Anniv and i won free accident insurance and computer scholarship certificates.

I don't know how they got my number but i called the landline, gave them the code and i will go there tomorrow morning. Nangutana pud ko in advance kung naa ba bayronon or any extra charges pero wala daw.. I will go there tomorrow pero if something fishy comes up i will not accept it. Especially kung pa bayron ko ug something.

It's really good that your are discussing this because kabalo nako unsaon nako.. Di pud ko magdala sako credit card ug di ko musugot kung naay auto debit or something... I'll reply tomorrow so you will know what happened.

TOPER.. bro i hope the cost of what you are paying at DATMEX is reasonable compared to other schools for the same course or program

naa pud ni.call sa amua kay nkadaug daw akng auntie. giadto namu pagka.ugma kay wala man sad mawala then gihatag jud nila ang scholarship ug acc. insurance pero mao lagi pugson ka apil ato ila pre-need something then pagbalibad namu kay duda lagi mi mura jud nasuko ang bayot! dah! keber jud mi oi... bahala sila. mayta lang tinuod ni ila scholarship. icheck nya ni nako...
