The problem does not lie whether "Global Warming" is true or not, but the problem lies on what agendas are being attached to the cliche'. Global Warming is really happening BECAUSE it is part of the natural cycle of the planet. Don't you know that this BS about earth doom started on the 50's but it was Global Cooling (or next Ice Age) back then. And to where they blame the cause was? Make a guess: it's CO2. Then sadly for Ice Age doom sayers, the 70's doomed them coz the weather got hotter and peaking in 1976. For the scientist, Prof. Stephen Sneider, who theorize the Ice Age story it was a chastening experience.
Now, here comes the doom sayers again changing their tune to Global Warming with all the twisted facts. If there is somebody to be attributed about this Global Warming agenda, it will Prof. Dave Keeling. But Prof. Keeling didn't use his data to promote the hoax about Global Warming coz as extensive as his data was, but it was not enough to conclude the theory: after all he started gathering only between 1958 to 2005. It was the politicians and anti-establishment groups who started all this SH!T and the businessmen just ride on for the money
One thing that many credible scientist are sure: that CO2 will not destroy the earth BUT it will certainly kill you. So why the hell use the "save the earth" slogan when there is nothing you can do about it. Instead, save yourself first and it is only then that it makes sense.
Now, let's get back to the technical details of the Earth Hour BS. Do you have idea that power plants producing electricity are greatly affected by sudden fluctuation of load cycles? Unplugging all your plugs alltogether is not as easy as it looks. The sudden drop and surge of power of the whole city can cause a great strained to the power generation system. The worst part that could happen are busted trasformer or power plant trip off. Of course power plant total failure will not likely to happen but if its does happen, do you think you are helping the earth? NO! because even if there is only one tranformer that gets busted because of sudden overload, think about the materials that will be mined or manufactured to replace that one that was unnecessarily busted. Are you helping the earth? Before you join these bandwagon, think first of the consequences. If you don't know, research.
