COTABATO CITY -- A Catholic radio station operating in Kidapawan City received a threat from an unidentified person on Tuesday, a station official said.

Malu Manar, program director of dxND, told the INQUIRER that a station staff received around 2 p.m. Tuesday a JRS package containing a streamer with “Death to the supporters of the CPP [Communist Party of the Philippines]/NPA [New People’s Army]/NDF [National Democratic Front]! Masses, let’s rise” printed in red ink.

She said the threat could be the result of the station’s interviews with militants.

Several hours before the package was delivered, a station reporter interviewed Kelly Delgado, spokesperson of the human rights group Karapatan in Southern Mindanao.During that interview, Delgado talked about a fact-finding mission that purportedly established the military’s hand in the explosion at the Anakpawis office in Kidapawan City. Two militant leaders were injured in the attack that occurred last week.

See, its the government that is terrorizing its own people. Shame to those who supported fascists acts of the government. People like spawn leaders like Adolf Hitler, Idi Amin, Pol Pot and other butchers!!!

LIFE IS PRECIOUS.. make most of it.. be contented with what life has* to offer and if there are problems don't add to it but find ways on how to correct it.. GOING TO STREET TO DO PROTEST IT JUST A F*8*K**G WASTE OF TIME & ENERGY, TRYING TO BOMBARD SOMEONE WITH INSULTS AND DEREGATORY REMARKS EITHER WON'T HELP.

    GREED IS OUR WORST ENEMY

SORRY if for your part going to street doesn't waste your time and energy. YOU must be very energetic.. but for me it's not worth my time.. and if i'm wrong most of the street protesters are being paid around how much and free lunch??, they even don't care what they're doing..

It's just unfair when those hardworking soldiers die, the ones on the frontline due to ambush/war and human rights people doesn't even care. but when an NPA dies due to combat they always look for loopholes..blahhh blah blah

how bout this ARMY GENERALS vs NPA leaders... boxing bout?

Free lunch? Who told you? The protesters bring pots, kettles, rice, stoves and other kitchen utensils aboard their jeeps. They cook their own food. They bring their own provisions. Most of them are farmers coming from different parts of Luzon and some from Visayas. They are no match to pro government protesters who are given packed lunch, softdrinks with money to boot.

Its waste of your time because you are well fed and is very lucky to have a good job. While you eat nice expensive food in cool restaurants in malls, these people had to endure harassment and hunger in the countryside. Maayo sad ka no nga ganahan ka kaon kaon ug lami while others are dying of starvation. And you have the gall to call them greedy.

Soldiers die because there is war and they choose that kind of calling. So with the NPA.

... amen. i highly respect those vendors in the streets; selling cigars, waters and stuffs coz at least they are WORKING and DOING SOMETHING FEASIBLE to alleviate their lives unlike those rallyist, who's doing NOTHING. c'mon, lets be realistic here, what does those rally do for them Since i was a boy i already hear rallies being held, commonly against the government, but still nothing has happened.
