these cartoons are the ones that should be studied by budding animators..from character designs down to the pose to pose animation..well these cartoons might be just another cartoon to the untrained eye but to a REAL animator it's a treasure trove of techniques waiting to be learned...at warners each director has a style which is very distinct and unique and if one analyzes it..then one can determine who directed it by just watching the cartoon and not looking at the credits...what the cartoons today lacks is staging and pose to pose animation..kai uban dri bsta mulihok and nice and kai naa sa anime mao na na...well no offense to anime pero gamai rman pd gd sa mga animes ang nindot..hell most of the animes i've seen don't do proper lip movement..pero look closely at Chuck Jones' grinch...every syllable is well animated and not just open-close bullsyet..in my opinion Ozamu Tezuka might be horrified at what's happening to the japanese animation..is there an anime out there that has great character staging and acting like pinocchio?..hmmm murag wla man cguro..if you look closely at the work of milt khal sa the sword and the stone...his training at proper gesture drawing is very evident...they say cartoons don't know how to act...well think again..try looking at a Bob Clampett bugs bunny cartoon and tell me in the face nga that's not acting...no cartoon nowadays do a great acting in such mundane emotions as sad or happy or surprised...basta naa luha and down ang kilay mao na na..well my point here is dli unta buhaton if just for the sake nga naai mabuhat..plan it well and most especially love the art..kai all these great acting, staging etc. are manifestations of the interest and the love for the craft..kng manguyab ka dba dli rman ka muingon sa imong gpanguyaban nga i love you..but you bring flowers and dress up para mudako ang chances nga sugton ka..much like sa art whether animation..comics or anything bsta ganahan jd ka you'd make the extra effort and not just maghimo ka para mapakita nmo nga kabaw ka..yes perhaps kabaw ka pero derivative imong work...nway nag rant nko..pero i just want all animation enthusiasts to know that we shouldn't learn from anime pero where anime learned its craft..of perhaps straight from the source..research and learn the craft..where it began who first did it and most importantly HOW they did it PROPERLY...that's the reason why wla ni kita ang atong recent animation product which is ang DAYO..sure we made one animation pero it's derivative and nothing more..should we just spent our time copying animes for the rest of our lives??..in my case..kamo lang! a real animator can animate anything not just anime looking people..
