Why use fdisk? naa naman sa windows XP CD about partitions. Fdisk are only capable of creating FAT partitions of types FAT12 and FAT16.

Other way in partitioning for windows xp CD

Make sure your computer is set to boot to your CD-ROM drive. You can change the boot order by loading your computer's BIOS menu (reference your computer manual for specific instructions in you're not sure).

Follow the installation steps (not repair). After a few screens, you will be shown the current partitions. This is not the classic fDisk utility, but it functions in the same way. Delete, modify and create new partitions from here.

After this, you'll be asked to reformat. If you did not modify the C: partition, theoretically, your old data should still be intact. Do not reformat through this utility. If you changed all partitions on the drive, allow the installer to reformat the drive.

musta naman ni solve na? report na TS, aron maka tabang mi. What reason mag reinstall ka OS? na corrupt? what kind of corrupt? di na maka sulod sa OS? If dili maka sulod then mo prompt sya try to run windows xp fix, then you need to run fix from cd then type ka ug chkdsk.
