you just added to the problem by subscribing to this line of thought.

You had a choice. And you can help it.

No matter who the leader will be, as long as the public is willing to pay "para madali, para dili cgeg wait" government officials and employees will be corrupt.

if you remove GMA, are you sure the person who will replace her is not corrupt? basin mas corrupt pa!

i am not a pessimist but a realist, look at the governments that are similar to the Philippines they have been corrupt since the time of Adam and the trend is not getting any better.

if you want to change this, then go ahead be like Ninoy who died in vain.

Corruption should not be there, really. We've just got used to it for too many years already. Administrations after administrations, it has been sitting idly in our system. We could only erase it if we will not allow it to happen.

I don't think the president can tolerate such an unlawful act. On the contrary, she even directed for belt- tightening measures specifically for the purpose of utilizing more funds accordingly and properly. Maybe if she really has no concern whatsoever to this issue, she will not have anything to say against it. But it's not the way GMA wants to go. She also wanted to fight corruption, but she cannot do it alone.

Mao na gyud ni realistic situation diri. Naay gamay nga buaya going after sa gagmay nga businesses, naay dagkong buaya going after the big businesses. Like part of life or part of business na gyud.

Not like ganahan gyud ta manghatag... si kinsa may ganahan! But dili ra na sa gadali o dili mag sige ug wait. Pugson man gyud ka ug kalisod anang mga buaya nga mo give in na lang gyud. Like imong competitor nga nibayad, smooth na kaayo ug operations, unya ang imong own businesses, wa pa kasugod kay di tigaan permit. Unsa-on man nga di man sad puwede mo close na lang... Kadaghan gi andam para mag open ug business. Kung naa kay i import, unsa-on ta man nga perti man gyung dugaya i-release kung di ka mohatag ug "gamay" sa ilaha...

this is one of the sad facts in our country.. i'm not being pessimistic, but this one of the realities for those people who need services from the gov't.
their purpose may be good or bad, but i guess it has become an "SOP" to give something for those who are in the position.
facing this reality , does not also mean that it cant be changed. change is possible, it just needs a strong will and conviction..
for now, let's start change with ourselves.. me included..

yes, let's change our nation by starting with ourselves. what we can do:

    1. always ask for a receipt.
    2. line up and don't whine. we are all in a hurry.
    3. throw our garbage where it belongs, in the bin.
    4. vote wisely

ngita man ta og dali pirmi gud... mao ng hatag pirmi kwarta.

Mao diay, sometimes kita ra sad ang mablame kay we seem to condone corruption and accept it as part of our daily lives. I think some of the people in the government get extra cash even if they don't want it because nahimo naman nga SOP.
