Philippine's Hope: Better Governance or Better People?

para naku mga frens mas mag una ang better people, kay ngano? kong tanang tawo is better people mo reflect ra unya na inig ka election. kay ang mga better people mo botar na sa mga better people rapud unya kong konsistent lang ta sa pagpili ug maayo nga leader nato everybody will follow. it starts with us gyud as individual.

Better people, a more aware population will choose the right candidates for government positions. Look at what happened to the recent US elections. It was the people who empowered to see change. At least here, people realized how the Bush government has done to the country, they did something about it. However, in the Philippines, no matter how government officials corrupt in people's faces, they still continue to elect them.

we need people who care for each one. ibalik nato ato sense of social justice and we should be moving in the right direction

For sure, Better People. When there are better people, there is better governance. Kitang mga pinoy (me included), naa ta'y mga batasan that prevent us from improving ourselves and our country. Hilig ta ug siesta, nga atong nakuha sa atong Spanish ancestors(?). LOL While siesta is enjoyable, it is not really conducive to progress. We all need breaks, pero ang mga pinoy nasobrahan ug siesta. Imbes mo trabaho, toa sa tindahan nag tambay, tagay2x ug tuba. Imbes mangitag kaayuhan, toa nag atubang sa TV, yampungad sa soap opera. Like me, imbes mag asikaso sa mga buluhaton, nia sa Istorya ga bagdoy bagdoy. LOL
