i've heard rumors that ukay ukay clothes (clothes man kaha imo pasabot?) are clothes of the dead. but of course that's not true. i mean digging graves is no easy job.

There were rumors that ukay ukay were clothes from the dead.
But if you think of it, do alot of dead people really wear just jeans or branded jeans to there death bed. tsaka kaluoy man ang cemeterio ( tama ba sa sbi ko?) daghan na gi digup just to get clothes and sell them for a cheap price. :P

Some ukays come from salvation army daw, which are suppose to be donations. May pagka mean... That's why i'm doing research on where ukay clothes really come from and if you have one on your neighborhood

Other ukays naman come from other people in countries like hk, korea, u.s or canada. The owners go or who live in some of those countries buy used clothes from other people for a really cheap price and send it here sa Philippines.

So far thats all I know about ukays.
