Hi to all , i would like to ask if computer science is still in demand now a days. What jobs does computer science have , is it like Information Technology?

oh well, it is not really the "course" that is in demand; what really is in demand are hard working and competitive individuals

If I understand you correctly I would say it's the other way around.. Technology won't come and go.. technology will always be around. As long as man lives their will always be new inventions, new technology but those people, the senior citizens that the nurses and other health care professionals take care of, they are the ones who will come and go because they will come in nursing homes and eventually go to their final resting place.

bottom line.. there will come a time when nursing and other health care professionals will not be as in demand like it is today unlike computer science and its allied courses which will always be in demand because technology is the trend today and will be the trend in the future.. hehe

Technology will be around. Technology for technology's sake doesn't make anyone money. Commercialization drives the number of jobs the tech industry provides. If there is no money to be made from it, people simply won't be hired and others will be laid off. Look at the tech burst in the late 90s. Look at the thousands of technology jobs people are cutting due to the US credit crunch. Yet out of all this, healthcare workers have never had to worry if they are going to have a job tomorrow.
