unsa kadak a jud if modako? murag toko? i have a phobia sa toko pero ganahan ko mag breed ug ing ani...
yes our own TIKI up in our ceilings are also GECKOS, but the similarity ends there coz these are desert terrestrial geckos with fascinating colors. and yes they can grow as big as 11 inches when fully mature.

and they don't have suction pads that allows our tiki and tuko to climb even on smooth surfaces.

I agree! the use of UTH suggestions came from LG caresheets written by hobbyists from countries with cold climates. dili siya applicable here in the Philippines coz hot and humid na daan. the use of such here can just cause problems to your pet. let us just clarify this so that newbies or other interested hobbyists will not get confused regarding whether to use UTH or not.

    up for today!

Dili bro. The Leopard gecko (Eublepharis macularius) is a nocturnal ground-dwelling gecko found in the deserts of Pakistan, Western India, Afghanistan, and parts of Iran. Unlike most geckos it possesses eyelids. Leopard geckos does well in captivity and is quite a popular lizard in the pet industry

    a young leopard gecko

Tuko on the other hand is known as Tokay Gecko (Gekko gecko). It is a nocturnal arboreal (tree dwelling) gecko from India, Bangladesh and throughout South East Asia. Unlike leopard geckos, its natural habitat are Rainforest trees, cliffs and occassionally, human habitats. it's name is derived from their loud vocalizations which sound like "Tokeh", hence their name.
