I am familiar with the 2253LW. It is one of samsung's new affordable models. It is in fact not a true 22 incher but a 21.6" lcd. Take note that as it is samsung's mid range offering, it does not have the same finish and elegance in design as the higher end 2232GW batches. Interested parties can google the two models for comparison. As for the ratio, it has been proven time and again by independent studies that the human eye can no longer distinguish the visual difference between 5000:1 to 8000:1. Maybe sa HDTV with 15000:1 ratio mas pronounced and difference but I havent noticed.

Its a matter of preference though, thats why naa lain2x range sa offerings, to satisfy each customer. So up for this item.
