Urbandub dissapreciation thread.

hmmmm.... we should be happy... that there was urban dub that existed..though dili pa kaayo cla sikat.. at least.. they make us proud.. whatever you say.. whatever you do... they are still cebuanos.. be proud.. naa man dyud nang dli ta ka appreciate sa ilang music.. naa pud na ganahan ta.. pro.. ila pud na nga style..kung nanaway ka.. nasuya lang cguro ka.. or paghimo kaha og imoha kay paminawon pud namo.. just be ready for comments and opinions.. if nindot ka mo tukar..den.. "bow" mi nmo. but dli.. undange na ang pagsaway sa atong kaugalingon nga artist.... "HANGGAW SA NAWONG BAYA"

agree w/ u guys... atleast sila nag butang sa cebu sa map (musicscene wise) daghan sad kaayo sila na influence na mga kids na no dig na deeper sa ila music. over all kinahanglan ang cebu ug mga banda preha sa urbandub.... grabe ug mga talent and background sa mga member... i think they're the best karn sa cebu (opinion nako).

question: why man urbandub ila name? nahan lang ko maka balo.... ska man ni sila sa una diba? diba urban and dub kay "genre" man sad na...? hehehehe... nahan lang ko makabalo sa history nila. thanks

i dont think there's any special reason why urbandub ila name.. i think it was better than what gabby and jed (original drummer) thought of originally --->SHAOLIN MAFIA!! hahahaha... i heard this from a reliable source..

didn't you know that there's another band named "urbandub"?? Actually that other band had the name first before our very own cebuano lads formed the group.... the original urbandub i think was a "dub reggae" duo based in the UK... u can check this information out: try typing "urbandub.com" on google and it would automatically point you to the original site for the UK group...

dont get me wrong, i'm not saying na dili sila original!! i know for a fact that gabby (u-dub singer) didn't know that there was another band with the same name until after 1 or 2 years after naming the band...

by the way, i've heard a lot of flack from the reggae community before criticizing urbandub for using the word "dub" as part of the band name.. well, all i can say is this: all of the members of urbandub really know their reggae music.... I think urbandub was originally intended to be a reggae band... well, that's what i heard anyway...

they play ska before right? and some sublime stuff ryt..? saw one of there gigs before sa artist and that was the time na dili pa kato drummer sa left of center ila drummer...

yep... best live act ako na kit.an so far... shrapnel sad... payter ayo left of center. di lang orig ako album nila kay panagsa naman lang gud ko kita nila nya di ta ko nahan mu.rip ug local na artist pero wala man gud choice... hehehe... i look up to left of center and shrapnel though i'm not into hardcore...

that's ur opinion... never got the chance to befriend almost all of them but musically they rock! dunno about sa attitude nila pero i know for a fact na daku ko respect sa drummer nila sa una...

but i disagree sa imu opinion sa urban dub kay ok man sila mu himu ug kanta. nya as far as i know, maayo man sila na mga tao... oh well, different people have different like and perceptions i guess.
BUT, i can see we both like fight club(actually i'm more like obsessed..hehehe )
