@yoncha: I see but when I visited their site, most if not all of their toys are Japanese-themed. Ako sagol sagol, naa ko ganahan American, naa pud ko ganahan Japanese. Ganahan ko Vash The Stampede pero wala na available locally. Naa hinuon usa ka Istoryan baligya kato iya partner Nicholas Wolfwood dili ko ganahan design. Naa pud ko nakit-an big cowboy sa Gaisano South pero I seem to read an article na he wasn't part of the actual manga or anime. I didn't buy it kay I may not be able to resell unpopular characters like him.

We usually meet every other Sunday in East West at 2PM. If you see geeks sketching, that'd be us. Pwede na nako request deletion ni na thread tutal I got the answer na man. It's cheaper to buy (1) from Manila or (2) from abroad. Or better yet, re-title nako topic to "Where do you buy your toys?" What say you? @cmontoya... its best to shop around... we're just saying GT and/or hobbyshaft is not your only source for toys... though i agree with most comments about GT/Malvin (as most collectors)... but you do get to see his good side when he is in a good mood... hehe

oh, it also depends what line you will be getting into... some stores have their strong points on a particular line of toys, kung baga "specialization" (for lack of a better term)...

Manila based forums - if you wanna score some loose collectibles, naa sad pamaligya na mosc/misb, but just be keen with the prices.
Local shops - Okay ang wasabi toys, best toys.. okay rasad GT, but personally i won't get any toy from them na siguro.

Online shops abroad: (these are shops i've dealt with and with no problem whatsoever)

Hongkong:

Toy-wave.com care of Ken - shit! animal ni na site, makapalit na siguro ko'g sakyanan sa akong damage ani na site heh
Angloz.com - tried them once, but after a bad review from a fellow macross collector, wala nako ni palit balik

Japan:

HLJ - daghan sad nindot, if only they don't exclusively ship via EMS
Stores from akihabara - nagbaha didto mga shops, if naa ka kaila didto.. papalit lang then padala dire via balikbayan box.. i got my Max and Miriya courtesy of visionarymadman

Australia:

Casefresh - most startwars and transformers, although they're starting to cater other toylines like Mcfarlanes.. nice prices, free shipping anywhere in australia for purchase of at least 80AUD.

Transfiguration toys - as the name suggest, more of transformers sad.. they also sell custom toys like repainted tf toys.. naa sad sila macross, pero ahak bunal price sad! free shipping din to pinas, pero mura snail mail.. maglawig sa dagat imo items.. (got some items from early this year, up to know naghuwat pako ma abot ako items)


USA

hasbrotoyshop.com - any hasbro toys, although they exclusive sell and ship within US continent, so if naa ka friends or relatives didto, adto nalang ipadeliver ang items, sila nalang sad pabayara.

lost and found toys - daghan sad items, sagol sagol.. they also get some of their items from hongkong shops and HLJ, so prices are a bit higher..

valkyrie.exchange c/o devin - obviously any macross related items you'd like to get..

ah, akihabara... yep, they have whole buildings of toys... one floor for kits, one floor for gashas and so on... hay mabuang ka diri...
