from what i know, PS and Convergys had this mutual agreement stuff... meaning ex PS-employees cant work for Convergys and probably vice versa (daw)
my friend told me na pari-pariha ra sa PS, ang pay jud nila is about 11K, without hazard pay. if hired in cebu, then temporary relocation sa manila, free and board n lodging. they also have a P300.00 na allowance per day and a phone allowance of P500.00/month and also a detergent allowance of P300.00/month. but basically, if they're in cebu na, back to the basic pay.
honestly, it's not that much of a difference with either PS or Sykes.
is the 300/day allowance on top of the 11k basic pay?!? if it is that would translate to about additional 7K!!!
whats a hazard pay btw?
non-compete clause i think is the contract which says you can't work in another competing company and/or their client within a certain period after you have left the company.

@DSX: i think ang convergys dili na mudawat ppl from sykes too. i dunno coz a friend from sykes who applied at convergys just told me that, even ppl from western wats dili dawaton sa convergys daw...
the hazard pay is like a form of compensation for the "dangers" in working for graveyard shifts...
+still same night diff for PS if you're talkin about 20%...
+we also have a rice allowance that's non taxable...
+same overtime rates as per friend from convergys' advice...
+pretty much same everything. only differs with the relocation pay they have for P300 per deem. (sakto spelling?)
my friend who's from PS did get the job when she applied at convergys. she had to turn it down when she found out that it's pretty much the same thing.
saka one thing at PS its 500,000.00 hospitalization benefit
