i think dili ra ang cebu TS how much more in manila nga mas daghan ug squatter nya daghan pud mga jobless dili ta ka ingon nga ang cebu ra ang dili safe i think bisan asa nga part sa kalibutang TS pwede na mahitabo kanato depend sa occasion og situation

For me its safe here cebu, pero like any places na-a dyuy panghitabo nga dili na ma control. The best thing to do is just be careful, Just the same as other cities, there are areas in Cebu City which should be avoided especially at night. The Carbon market area in the center of the city is best avoided by foreigners. Pickpocketing and robbery are a problem in the market area. Also, use caution around the main port area, tourists are mobbed by cab drivers looking for fares and the pickpockets take advantage of this.

I talked to my sis yesterday and I was so surprised nga ang duha ka classmate daw sa among pag umangkon kay gikawatan ug cell while walking sa Capitol. Then the robber shoot both of them and ang isa daw namatay pero ang isa wala. Ingon ana na gyud d ay kakuyaw ang Cebu karon?

Then even daw sa SM or Ayala daghan sad daw mga pick pocketers. Kay akong mom naku utan ug 10k sa SM din akong lola naku utan ug 15k sa Ayala(separate occasion).


Unsa man imong buhaton kung tulison ka?
Allowed ba ang civilian nga magdala ug weapon(like gun) or at least pepper spray?
Motabang ba ang mga police dinha?
Ga offer naba ang mga bank ug cc dinha?
Last time ang ako ra nahibal-an kay citibank raman, where mag deposito ka ug money para makagamit ka sa cc kung naa ka paliton sa SM or Ayala.

I'm just a concerned Cebuana. Kinsa pa may turista ang ganahan mo anha sa ato-a kung asta imong shades langkaton, asta cell ug bisan unsa pana dinha, basin kadugayan ato ng sinina ang langkaton haha.

.. in truth lang .. I mean let's face the reality , many people are getting poor already. Some are not cebuano's who is you local pickpocketeer or gun wielding thieves, they are all around the philippines. And also there is no safe place naman jud. My boarding house in UCMA lahug was even robbed, luckily i don't have expensive electrical equipment with me, so they just took my E.FAN and my NICE CLOTHES, could you believe that? ,,, the day after that I directly transfer to another place because I'm afraid they are going to go in for some more and take more loot.

so bringing DEFENSE ITEMS is a way to go najud since these days are not safe. so here are my tips...


TIP

1. if you are a girl, please don't travel alone. You are the primary target since most who do the stealing/killing are GUYS. If you do travel alone, and it can't be helped bring PEPPER SPRAY, TASER GUN, or something you can use to defend yourself. (Make it POINTY so that to inflict damage and make them retreat)
2. as much as possible travel in groups. =so that they will hesitate in making a move on the group=
3. don't bring much money. bring only what you need.
4. in crowded places put ur bags infront of you to have visual on your belongings. Check your pockets from time to time.
5. if you encounter the CRIMINAL, please run, you don't know what they are capable of.
6. Always keep your guard up jud ALWAYS.

well im 20yrs old.. Im very cautious about wandering in streets day and night. just wanna share and also .... I'm gonna buy a TASER GUN for self defense so be safe istoryans
