WHats the purpose for the 90 degrees sata cable?

Most motherboards the sata connectors are directly in line with the PCI-e slot. latest video card that are very long can reach up to more than the width of the motherboard which most likely will cover up the sata connectors. specially on Crossfire setups where the the second long videocard which is a dual slot is most likely to cover up the sata connectors. The solution 90 degree sata cable.

Some motherboards has sata connectors angled already.

Will get one or two of these once my CF setup is complete.

i think the 90 degree part is not for ur mobo's side but for the hard drives or optical drives so it wont eat much space or get tangled with ur other cables.
