Why not try UNDERCLOCKING when your just going online on the internet, typing a report or other not so stressful applications. UNDERCLOCKING is relatively safe worst thing to that could happen is that it would restart and you would have to increase your settings a little bit at a time.

Hi! I'm just anewbie here. If your PSU is tagged to have 300W power rating basically it means taht it could handle of such power requirement (of course the + - tolerance). But I guess it doesn't mean that your consuming the entire 300W, right? If this is the case then it doesn't mean that what is stated in your CPU is really what your are consuming.

I'm just relating this to the server where at the back it says 750W of power. It means that it consumes a maximum of 750W of power thus it could also go down 750W.

He he he he! i charge nobody. i dont own a dorm either. nor even a boarding house. In the case sa kaila nako i think he is paying P500 for his pc every month while paying only P300 for the electric iron.

He is considering to have a dsl connection but mag increase daw ang charge sa iya pc to P750 if thats the case. he he he.

Anyway, balik ta sa topic, which one consumes more power, CPU or the monitor?
