hit man siguro ang blade...one of my favorite movies biya nah...heheh
i think it is a matter of hit and miss. blade was more successful franchise for marvel pero morag tungod sa mga legal troble ni wesley mao siguro nawala usa kini. that was a commercially successful marvel investment and note that they just introduced a few known marvel heroes & villains there. Story, action, star quality that seemed acceptable by fans and effects made it successful without character overload. but it was a bad move to make the franchise into a TV series.
However, in daredevil, electra, punisher, ghostrider and hulk, similar formulas were applied but it seemed that they banked too much on stars who do not seem fitted to the roles by fans. and i think that did not made boxoffice hits of these characters. That is why they are re-doing hulk in The Incredible Hulk with Edward Norton as David Banner/Hulk. (among the scribes re this movie there is least marketing except that a trailer will be shown during the release of the movie 10,000BC.)
DC paniguro ra man sila. Superman and Batman gained boxoffice successes except that they also had sequels that turned ridiculous to the fans (it started after Superman II and Batman Forever). With the recent re-invention of Batman with Batman Begins, the fans flocked back to the movies. I was disappointed with Superman Returns because I cannot imagine Superman without Lois Lane and they got a son out of wedlock..... i think the director Bret Ratner just murdered the franchise and the fans seem to have the same sentiment. Now the franchise is in limbo & many are regretting on Brett (who left the X-Men franchise to pursue Superman)......
I'd say patas pa gihapon - i think that importante nila para mahimo og boxoffice hits is that they listen to fans and keep the stories as close to the comicbook.....
akong gnahan sa marvel tungo sa ilang various characters unlike sa dc na ga concentrate ra nila superman and batman.
dili man si brett ratner ang director sa superman..kanang bag o ronna superman...brett ratner was the director of x-men the last stand...si bryan singer ang director sa superman returns...mao si brett ratner ang director sa xmen 3 because bryan singer chose to direct superman kaysa sa x men...may ra pud oi kay mas nindot man ang xmen 3 kaysa superman returns....Originally Posted by BaNGis

nindot biya ang x men 3...may ra pud oi si brett ratner nag direct sa x men 3...![]()
mao ba? ka knowledgable gud ningyo sa...
mas nindot sad bitaw x-men 3 kaysa superman returns. best sa dc so far kay batman begins ra.[br]Posted on: February 21, 2008, 07:33:37 PM_________________________________________________w atch this:
