how old na imong RES? regarding the gender, lisud tan-awn if your RES is younger. kung 3 years old or more, you could.

The easiest way to determine whether your turtle is a male or female is to look at its claws. A males claws will be very long and the females will be shorter. Also the males tail is longer while the females is much shorter.

@ reign. cge bai. How old is your turtle? Like what leostargolem said, you will know your RES gender by its claws. Kung more than 3 years old na sila, ila front claws grows more or less 1 inch for males. Females' claw grow not even half of the males.

I can trade my turtle for a male (pero I'm hesitant kay I have grown them from hatchings to adult) maluoy ko kung di maayo ang mo atiman sa ila.

bai chormatus, i learned lang recently bah nga mangitlog man gyud diay nang female RES with or without a male... unfertilized or not. nya kinahanglan gyud mu-provide ug nesting place or else the eggs'll get stuck insdie her and the RES will die. scaree. naa baya ko usa ka female diri..

mao ba? whoa! Pareho diay sila sa sailfin dragon nga mangitlog bisan walay laki. I should change the setup of my tank then. Salamat leostargolem. From which articles man nimo na nikita? My 2 RES are 7.5" and 7" pero murag wala pa man nangitlog. diba they start breeding at around 4-5" and carapace?

sir leostargolem.. how big are your RES na gani? Hulaton nalang nako imong males RES madako para ipa mate sa akong RES. Wala man jud diri may adult male RES. if I start growing a new set of RES it will take me about 3 years to wait.

hala, gamai pa man ni sila bai. si stuart kai 3.5" pa nya si ollie kai 4" pah. hapit na ni sila mag 1 year... layo pa kaayo sa tinuod.. ahihihi..

hahaha. Siguro pwede na kung halos 2 years old na si stuart. Ga sugod na ba taas iya front nails? but I'm imagining a 4" male RES mating with an 8" RES. Pero ok na siguro na, some women even marry men who are 3x their size or 30 even years older than them. hehehe
