try Wally Lamb's books, nindot daw. i have only read she's come undone ok man, point of view sa babae even if lalake ang nag sulat... naay parts sa book nga mag-sige ko'g tan-aw sa likod sa book to see kung lalake ba jud ang author... i'm still looking for i know this much is true, daghan man gud naga-recommend...

if you want a humorous book, try the ones by David Sedaris...compilations of essays about anything...grabe ang mga one liners niya. here are the titles:

Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden....I've read this book within two days, I just can't put it down. A very good narrative book and it is easy to get involve with the characters thoughts..


I've read Sophie's World...quite a thought provoking book, if u enjoy philosophy then you'll love this...


Am reading The Dreaming Stones by Sarah Harrison at the moment, just started...and so far so good...it's a romantic epic...

different versions/translations of the ART of WAR by Sun Tzu.
the only one i'm reading over and over.. even just a couple of pages a day.
constantly looking for whatever it is that he wrote but everyone keeps missing.
i mean a book so great..that it could be used for war, business.....everyday life.
also reading anything about war history and trying to see which leader used Sun Tzu's principles. Hopefully the next war that happens i'd be able to "farsee" (yoda)
something.

also trying to see if the confucian principles can be used together with sun tzu's.

if your into suspense/thriller books - try sidney sheldon's if tomorrow comes and
rage of angels ( bestseller!)

romance- prolly something by danielle steel- remembrance but i wouldnt recommend it much since you'll just end up with red-rimmed eyes...( i cried my
lil heart out on this one hehe) and you cant go wrong with judith mcnaught books- this books you cant put down! hehe

and life experiences? i suggest tuesdays with morrie - sorry i read it some time ago, forgot the authors name
