thunderstorms, as most people know about, are just lumps of dark gray clouds bringing rain and some flashes of lightning followed by thunder....but here's a glimpse of what thunderstorms are...
The building block of all thunderstorms is the thunderstorm cell. The thunderstorm cell has a distinct life-cycle that lasts about 30 minutes.
    Towering cumulus stage
The first stage is the towering cumulus stage. A cumulus cloud begins to grow vertically, perhaps to a height of 20,000 feet. Air within the cloud is dominated by updraft with some turbulent eddies around the edges.
    Mature stage
The second stage is the mature stage. The storm has considerable depth, often reaching 40,000 to 60,000 feet. Strong updrafts and downdrafts coexist. This is the most dangerous stage when large hail, damaging winds, and flash flooding may occur.
    Dissipating stage
The final stage is the dissipating stage. The downdraft cuts off the updraft. The storm no longer has a supply of warm moist air to maintain itself and therefore it dissipates. Light rain and weak outflow winds may remain for a while during this stage, before leaving behind just a remnant anvil top.

as the article clip says, thunderstorms at their mature stage go as high as 60000 feet....and these clouds could spread hundreds of miles wide...much worse in the conditions of the atlantic ocean...however, i still cant wait to hear about what really happened and i cant wait for that black box to be recovered...

black boxes arent really black, they are usually orange or yellow in color often attached at the tail section of the aircraft..there are 2 types of black boxes used in airplanes, one is the flight data recorder which records the altitudes, positions, speeds, and all information regarding the situation of the aircraft on all phases of the flight duration, another one is the cockpit voice recorder which records the conversations made by the ATC and pilots...

According sa mga report, na hit man ni siya sa lightning.

a plane travelling directly in the lightning path could end up being split into half

Honestly saying ... there is no metal that can withstand the force of the lightning.

All technology depends on the exisistence of the earth.

Even space ship going outerspace needs to bring along oxygen tank for combustion.
