There's another repair shop in Mandaue across the Pocherohan in Guizo. The name of the shop is Pono Electronics. I had my point & shoot done there. The guys there also told me that they do DSLRs as well. In my experience, they don't work that fast but in fairness, I wasn't doing much follow ups. People there are nice and they are very transparent. If they're busy, they tell you they're busy. If they overlooked the repair of your item, they tell you exactly just that. Also, before they do repairs, any repairs, they tell you exactly what they're going to do, give you a quote, and ask for your go signal before doing any repairs at all.

I'll post the address and number when I get the time to have my sister's point and shoot fixed. I seem to have lost the receipt they gave me when they fixed my p&s.

Naa pa ba si Jessie Ong? Siya ang tig limpyo sa akong mga lenses long ago film pa ako gamit. If i remember right ang iya balay dapit sa Rubber World in Minglanilla.

btw, dbgg1979 had his 400D and 450D repaired there. They were able to fix it in one day but naay TTL issues. It's back there now. Huwat lng ta sa feedback ni dbgg.

guys, ask unta ko ba.. naa koi Sigma 70-300mm lens.. then dli na mogana ang iyang auto focus... (kay tungod sa naay nghuwam nga amigo nko then di khibaw mogamit! tsk!) so, every time naa koy mga shoots, manual nko..sometimes mglisod ko if mg'shoot kog mga sports event.. ask lng ko if ma'da pa ba tu xag ayo

atbang ni sa pocherohan sa guizo beside the balbacua ma'am. their signage has a panasonic logo since they're also a panasonic authorized service center.

Naguba/nabuak ang thread sa lens (or mount) or unsa bay tawag anang part sa lens nga mokupot sa body..

Ddto ko sa camera care niya ila qng giingnan nga murag 3 weeks pa maau kay orderon pa ang part.. estimate price wasa 2,500 while if ifabricate lang ang part kay 750php then 3 days makuha (nitagam nako ani ilang ETA kay akong 1000D nga nawater damage wala najd nasalbar tungod sa kadugay molihok).

so I went to Pono electronics, talked to Mr. Jun Pono himself, and the estimate repair was still 2,500 and repair will take 3 days.. So I had no choice but i admit didto and in just 1 day, he texted me nga ok na for pickup ang lens.

Mejo pricey (I should have told him nga mas barato ang cameracare kay basin nidive pa xa sa presyo ) pero service was fast..

for now, I'll consider Pono electronic for any problems kay gamay paman repair shops diri sa Cebu.
