digitalsuperman: are you using realvnc?? and are you using pcs with XP Os?
i wonder why nobody advised remote desktop connection which is already part of windows XP. With Remote Desktop, you connect to the remote pc as if you're using the PC itself. Unless you have XP Pro on the remote computer, you just have to use third party software.
I used remote desktop to access my servers; real vnc for users' support para makita nila kung unsa ako ginabuhat rather than RDT na dili nila makita. usahay man gud maski wla pa nuhaman og install or whatever support u do ang user kung ilang i ctr+alt+del then ma logout pud ka and pcanywhere kung outside support na.
if windows xp mga OS sa imong computers within the network, pwede pud ka gamit ug netmeeting, mas safe nindto kaysa vnc...
I tried Remote Anything pro nagkaproblem lgi sa mga games ky dli na maopen ang mga games mo hung up siya pro ang internet okey ra man. Is Remote Anything safe sa Internet og Online Games?
try NX http://www.nomachine.com/ which is more secured and fast than VNC. Though it has only a M$ client no server. It is great if you are using a non-M$ OS like Linux.Originally Posted by digitalsuperman
VNC is not encrypted if you are using the GPL version. But if you like try the NX it has also an Open-Source version. Some people says that the NX is much faster and secured than VNC. It is secured because it is using the ssh architecture.
Try the link http://www.nomachine.com/ but the server is only on the non-M$ OS. It worth it if you're on the Open-Source OS.Originally Posted by inspector_ronan
Remote Desktop Connection on 2K and XP works just as well as any.
