you also have a point.Â* the question now, is HOW and WHO is gonna solve all the injustices, exploitation and abuses that happens behind the walls of these highly secured and practically "immune" foreign companies when the management has a deaf ear and the HR people are practically helpless?

there must be a win-win resolve to all these.

    anyone?

    on a related issue...

even a 1.5 liter coke evaporates in the ref at the pantry before lunch break and cellphones and PDA's disappear. at 1 callcenter in Mandaue, lockers are even ransacked.

Maayo man pod nga ni exist ang call center companies... imagine, if wala na diri sa pinas, surely taas ang unemployment rate..

Then it's possible mag hu-ot ta ug pang apply sa other Non-Call Center companies....

Pero if you think and you really feel there's something else for you out there, which may not pay you as high as your present call center salary, but offers you career growth and career security... then grab the chance....

Don't wait 10 to 20 years from now, then perhaps you might say...

"I could have been a doctor, or a teacher or a police officer.... but it's too late to make a U -Turn..."

I agree that we should be thankful that the call centers are giving our people jobs but they should change the way the handle their people and should not give them false hopes. In short magpakatotoo lang unta na sila. Kasagaran ra ba dali ra kaayo manga-ilad kay mga bata pa.

When I read those high fallutin hiring ads on the local and national papers every sunday (and yes, even weekdays) it leaves a big smirk on my face because it is all B.S. But hey, since we are poor then their B.S. is somebody else's little luck or fortune.

Maayo ra ning call centers gamiton in between jobs or pang tawid-gutom ra but definitely not for a career. I guess ana lang gyud na diri sa kalibutan, mag ginamitay lang ta because in cases like these there is no genuine symbiotic relationship.

i can sooooo relate to this.. altho im a tech supp in a blossoming call center (stand alone call center) our job in here is not that stressful that is if you are talking to a customer who knows what you're talking about... the comapny that im working with is a hosting company so you'd expect that customers know computer terms but i have this customer who doesn't know what a browser is! or a desktop! imagine my frustration explaining those things to him... jeezz.. and they said that the computer is invented in US
