I think whatever we "believe"--it governs our life.

So, it is very important that your belief brings out the best in you.
My great grand father, Nicolas Perez, founded his own church.
He is the mentor of Eli Soriano(--for those who did not know)

In my case, I grew up and raised reading the bible.
I grew up a christian and I admit, I was a "good" christian.
I was judgmental and self righteous.
But I knew there was something wrong with my faith and my behavior.
As I grew older and wiser, I opened my mind to the universe.
That is when I changed my belief.
And i realized that I have a gift.
A gift that my belief would not even acknowledge before.

    And since then---
    everything changed for the better.
I knew my talents, my gifts and my purpose.
And i understand life in the universe better now.

This is all because I left my old faith.
    So, right or wrong,
I'm happier now not believing in any religion.

lol... i wonder what the "true GOD" will do if we choose NOT to follow him. maybe he'll wipe us out like what the Judeo-Christian GOD did in the Old Testament.

ato lang i reverse ang scenario ha... what if the atheists were right? will you still have an open mind?.. what if you are very religious person (say like the pope), would you accept the truth? that most of your life, your belief was incorrect..
thats a good question, so personally, i'll change my belief system. but it doesnt mean i should also change my morals right? . do you agree that morals and faith are 2 different things?

no, but i believe atheist acquired their morals from some religious teaching or from the society they live in. in other words its not self acquired but tough.
