FB even admitted it, and promise to fix, i still see some reports being posted their fb forum then deleted by admin...

photos in FB is not stored in there server it is hosted in a 3rd Party DATA CENTER, like what we did on some of our website, this samething goes to youtube...

    b) the issues is with there data center host which is most of the time as what ive experienced will give limited access to their clients, here at the office we use amazon s3, the privacy they are talking is when you are at their site, but when you use the direct link its not controlled by fb anymore... this is already beeing raise as bug on FB repository (who ever flagged it ka kwarta jud kay mobayad ang FB basta naay makit-an nga bug), the problem is synchronization... if the file is hosted separate from the server may tendency nga dili na mag synchronize especially daghan kaayo ang request/traffic... ive tried this before, i have to delete it manuall sa amazon s3...
Points taken, but think how 100 or even 1000 will stack against 10,000,000+ users--there is no comparison--these are still under the category of "isolated incidents".

Case in point--travelling via motorcycle is still generally (statistically) a safe method of travel in the Philippines. Yet we STILL see ISOLATED cases like this:

Again, I stress on the word ISOLATED, because if this were COMMON, then wala na unta'y mopalit ug mogamit ug motorcycle.

Meaning, if UNPRIVACY in FB was that WIDESPREAD, then wala na pod unta'y mogamit ug FB.

After lurking and reading forumers statements and responses , daghan gihapon ang wala naka hibalo sa ilahang gipang sulti on top of the offtopics and nonsense replies .

    To sum it up :

    On the girls side ...

    - Congratulations na makapaso gyud siya and that would be today .
    - Goodluck on getting her good conduct certificate and finding an undergraduate school of her or the parents choice .

    On the institutions side ...

    - Good job on implementing laws and policies .
    - Good job on protecting the integrity and foundation of the school .

For the consumption of all :

Please dont show your IGNORANCE here by relating PRIEST , NUNS , RH BILL , CONDOMS , SEXUAL ASSAULTS , RELIGION , ROMAN CATHOLICISM etc sa issue sa girl and the school . It does not at all coincide . A lot of the people who was sued are not even members of the religious community mao ayaw mo cge ug pataka ug pasagad .

Another thing , walay picture gyud ni surface out because as what I have said in earlier replies , ang administration na lang ang ga assumingly ga kupot ug copy ana for reference purpose . Dont talk about he picture na ni surface out because it clearly does not at all justify na naa sila s abeach because it is obviously a bathroom . Ngano gud uroy manigarilyo ka or mag tagay sulod sa kasilyas ? Sakto ang sulti sa uban , LEWD and ILLICIT is very subjective and yet if it was defined in the handbook unsay right and unsay wrong while you are under their wings and responsibilities , the institution has all the right mo decide unsay LEWD and ILLICIT . Although the favor was given to the girls as per the judge's decision , we really dont know what transpired to that but all is well because ang importante naka paso ang girl which will probably give her a sceond chance na mag tinarong and because of that wake up call , na enlightened siya otherwise asa na siya puniton maski DOCTOR o ENGINEER pa na iyahang ginikanan .

Lastly , wala ninyo ma ponder na habitual offenders man diay ang girls which I read somewhere in one of the news links yet still we dont know the real score because daghan version ang media just to stimulate and sensationalized . If ever sakto to , mayganio wala sila gi straight KICKOUT / EXPEL but gipa graduate pa di lang makapaso ang penalty . So to conclude , kadtong mga cge ug sulti about its the 21st century , open minded chuk chak , you guys dont know what you are talking about . Watching too much princess movies and chic flicks ra cguro mo kutob .

Warning to all TROLLS / CLONES ... kung mo interact gani mo , please gamita na lang ang real acocunts ninyo . kapoy ug ban ninyo intawn .

    Not yet.

The order of the judge of the court... i restrain lang ni ang imposition sa sanction. Let's say temporary in nature then after trial on the merit then there would be a final or permanent injunction.

After reading all the comments all i can say is OA ang uban dire First, she graduated but banned from attending the graduation rites as evident in the first page pa lang and we all know there are many incidents of a school banning their students from attending due to disciplinary or inappropriate actions i know a case when a student got caught of cheating.

Second, im sure the parents of the concern student knows her violation and they only suing the school for allegedly not giving the student due process. I agree to someone here na concern gyud ang parents about the lewd photos... this reminds me of this news article http://www.abs-cbnnews.com/nation/re...sexy-fb-photos

Third, springy is right we dont know what other disciplinary offenses the girl committed basin mao pud gi base sa school admin.

Last, kadaghan man school aside catholic run educational institution which is conservative; didto nalang mga anti-church, anti-Christ, catholic haters, freethinkers ug atheist mo-skuyla or magtukod na lang sila ilang kaugalingon school, tan-awon nato unsa ang results

This girl will have a hard time going to college sa mga Catholic Institutions like USC or USJR. Strict kaayu sila if pertaining ani. Nakadaog but the issue will not die down. It will be relive sa mga reunions ug sa mga lower batches sa STC. It will be a constant reminder kung unsa na nahitabo. The girl might win but lisud na ma limpyo imong name balik. Medyu uwaw na hehehehehe

And addition to the issue , sayop nga mo sulti ta ug na TRAUMA ang girl tungod kay na threaten siya na di makapaso but although makapaso na siya karon as awarded by the court , for sure TRAUMATIC gihapon na siya sa girl after graduation , not because of the brouhaha but because sa kabuang sa girl .

Traumatic in a sense na she would not know who will be the real friends na . Of course the family is there but I am pretty sure ga lagot2 na ang ginikanan sa girl pod mismo sa anak nila but they are just doing the duties as parents , to be protective sa anak nila . Professional people in their right mind maski mo ingon pa ka na westernized na sila still would find it wrong for a 16 year odl girl who carries the name of a physicians last name mag hinanggaw unya babayng dako pa jud .

I know a lot of Theresians na after nila pag graduate , lupig pa ang porn stars nagpa boob job , ni apil sa cast/extra sa Tokyo Drift ; 2fast , 2 Furious franchise wearing skimpy clothes and some even involved themselves as high end escorts . Kana siya na point clearly justifies na maka ingon ta that the school failed maybe to instill the values that makes them good Christians and honest citizens but the mere fact that these girls are not in the cloak of the institution anymore defines na wala nay labot ang school nila unless sa STC gihapon sila ga college . But as long as naa ka sa tugkaran nila , people should adhere to the rules and regulations due to the fact that being in that institution is a privilege that can be taken anytime .
