Expect SHS AdC to still compete hard for the top prize with or without guard Henry Asilum. The biggest lost of SHS AdC was actually guard Adven Diputado who is Asilum's team mate in the under 16 national team. He has also been "pirated" by the San Beda Red Cubs together with guard Arc Gabriel Araw Araw.
Diputado (16) opted to return to third year high school and suit up for the San Beda Red Cubs next season as a senior guard. If he had stayed in Sacred Heart, he would be a 4th year senior student already. All 3 players are former Jr. NBA Philippines representatives.
Trivia BRIT REROMA, head coach of the SAN BEDA Red Cubs is a Cebuano from Talisay. Araw-araw is a kababayan.

CEBU, Philippines - The Cebu Eastern College (CEC) Dragons vented their ire against the smaller Don Bosco Technology Center (DBTC) Junior Grewywolves via an 88-57 rout in yesterday's high school match-up of the 11th Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation, Inc. (CESAFI) basketball season at the Cebu Coliseum.

The Dragons, who lost the University of the Visayas Baby Lancers were all business from start to finish giving DBTC no breathing room.

They could extend their winning run tomorrow when they go up against the University of San Carlos (USC) Baby Warriors in one of three secondary games.
Alfred Anecito Sedillo had seven triples en route to a topscoring 23 points as he engaged into a scoring contest against his teammate James Neil Sumayang, who drilled in 22 points.
They dominated the game from start to finish and were maintaining leads of at least 20 points in the second half.

In the lone collegiate match last night, the unbeaten University of Cebu (UC) Webmasters were gunning for their eighth consecutive win against the beleaguered University of San Jose Recoletos (USJR) Jaguars who are toting a 1-6 win-loss card. (FREEMAN)

The Cebu Eastern College Dragons got back on the winning track as they dealt the Don Bosco Greywolves an 88-57 whooping in the juniors division of the Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc. (CESAFI) basketball tournament yesterday at the Cebu Coliseum.
The reigning champions are coming off their third loss of the tournament after they got ambushed by the University of the Visayas (UV) Baby Lancers for the second time this year, 69-75.
However, they did not allow that loss to deter them as they leaned on the impeccable shooting of wingman Alfred Sedillo and the strong inside play of veteran slotman Lyle Sumayang to snatch the easy victory.
CEC improved to 7-3 (win-loss) while Don Bosco dropped to 2-8.
Sedillo, a prized rookie pickup, sizzled from beyond the three-point arc as he converted on seven bombs, all of which came in the second half.
He had two in a 21-6 run at the start of the third canto that turned a 31-22 halftime advantage into a huge 52-28 bulge. He added five more in the fourth stanza, with each trey bringing rowdier applause from the CEC faithful. He ended up with 23 points.
Sumayang was his usual dominant self as he scored a total of 22, 12 of which came in the first 10 minutes of action, which allowed CEC to lead, 17-12.
The Greywolves were paced by the 16 of Marlo Pono and the 12 each of Stephen Nierre and Lex Mellijor.
