Dili man scary. Sometimes ang report exaggerated lang kaayo. Naay makulang naa sad madugangan. Cguro para sa amoa nga naa na gyud dinhi, naanad na pud. Though d man gyud cguro sad na malikayan, maski sa Luzon, Visayas naa man sad gihapon threat gikan sa mga pIkas party...

Nia ko dinhi almost 10 years na sa muslim area, ang uban gali sad taga mindanao, dli moanhe dinhi kay mahadlok. pero so far okay raman..

Mindanao is never scary. Truly safe. There are plenty of interesting sites to see in its vastness.
Travel now and see marsh lands of Agusan; get wet in Iligan, she has plenty of waterfalls;
same is true with Gingoog; indulge yourself of Davao's durian and Bukidnon's pineapples; tour
around the volcanic Camiguin; immerse in the pristine beaches of Pearl Farm and Dakak beach resorts;
Scale the country's highest peak; trek its luscious forests, rivers and jungles; be historical by visiting the
place where Rizal was exiled; brave the powerful waves off Siargao; learn her different indigenous people;
watch the colourful vintas of Zamboanga and listen to their hispanic-influenced dialect ... "queryo
contigo contodo mi corazon" etc ..etc.. Mindanao has lot to offer and peaceful.
So, TARA NA! BIYAHE TAYO!

Oooppss! Should you reach a place where the CROSS is no longer dominant but that of the
CRESCENT MOON, all you need to do is to turn back and RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!!
To be safe stay at cemeteries there are plenty of crosses there. hahaha.. joke joke joke :mrgreen:

Not all areas of Mindanao are dangerous but just avoid the Western Hemisphere of the Island because collision are usual because of the ongoing offensive of the Philippine Military along with the U.S Military against separatist rebel groups. Air and Artillery strikes are common there so it's never safe. There was recently an air bombing strike by the Philippine Airforce to force the rebels to show up. As of the moment it really is never safe there.

Everywhere is not safe. When accidents takes its place, which part of the globe it may be there's no one safe then,. Mindanao is not scary though there are some places, which is some sort of RED ALERT area because of the separatist rebel and alike. But most likely, air and artillery strikes do happen at the BUKID BUKID area. SO there's nothing to be scared of.
