all hail marKcuering, the master of all programmers. He is the smartest programmer in Cebu, in Singapore, and in Philippines. No other programmers can't reach his level.
If you talk to him, you became dumb.

or you could follow this alternative also..

bitaw.. freedom to code only happens if you're the boss, and you talk directly to your client.. which is point #1 above..

............ so it means you are just following, acting like a robot, with no freedom to code, and don't have the right to make innovations, is that what you meant?

    think before you talk.

I never heard of a company that wont encourage innovation.
Of course you have to follow what is company's objective and goal. It's their business, you are getting paid that provides rice for your family and you should do work for them.

Freedom to code, we can still get. No one will stop you to optimize your code, beautify, refactor it, as long as you wont introduce any mess in your application. If you add Spring or decide to use .net in your apps, that's another story. You cannot decide for your own self. You have to ask or convince the stakeholder You have to work with the team and not just your preference.

Please be specific what do you want to do what should be an ideal working environment for you? Tell us what do you want. if you have capability like Hjelsberg probably you will get it. But it seems you are show off and n00b programmer, then you have to stick with company's plan and not your and your toy program.
