instead na maka save sa sale kay makagasto naman nuon ko ug daghan. salig man sale. hehe. makapalit na nuon ug dili kailangan.

but now, since im earning my own money.. super tihik na.

akong dad is very thrifty. and doesnt care much about material things. he has this pair of slippers na panglakaw na guba na kaayo but di jud niya ilabay kay pwede pa lagi. kung palitan ug lain kay masuko. hehe.

we just had dinner.... here is a tip to u mommies out there who are kapos sa budget or have some eggplant nga kulubot na but anugunan to throw away.

peel them (ang kulubot kay ang skin ra bya)...dice them really very little and then use them as ground meat substitute kung kulang ang ground meat nyo sa spaghetti sauce.

what i do is that i saute it really well over low fire...then when klaro nga na-luto na... put the spaghetti sauce BUT dilute it so the sauce is very plentiful. by the time the sauce is back to the state that it is supposed to be....the eggplant is very mushy na and has absorbed the taste of the sauce.

great way to tipid AS WELL AS hide veggies from your kids na ayaw kumain hahahaha.

it is better to start training your kids to eat veggies at a very young age... mga one or two yrs old ...as soon as solids na sila.

my son loves kangkong, native pechay stalks (which is good coz i love the leaves! lol), taugi, squash, carrots and potatoes (cooked in other ways and not just fried) and eggplant.

    that way...MATIPID na...MASUSTANSYA pa.

-i take the bus to work coz it saves gas and parking and the bus stop is just outside the main hospital entrance.
-i use coupons and look at sale items in the grocery store and only pick up what i really need for the house.
-i pay my bills online w/c saves me 42cents stamps everytym.
-we try to avoid malls so that we won't be tempted to shop and instead we go to the park to spend tym w/ our son.
-we rent netflix movies instead of goin to the movies coz it's way cheaper.
small things really makes a difference in our budget.
