hallo master woodworkers! we are planning to make a wooden propeller about 2 ft in diameter. mangutana ta ko unsai maau ani na wood gamiton? kanang humok lang para nig sand ug kulit2x. and murag tabla amo need ani, kay amo pa man daw i 'laminate'. gi ingnan mi na 4inch x 1/2inch x 4ft daw na tabla.. nya s4s. =)

unsaon ninyo ang propeller?? I mean like kato amo ka batch ang ilang thesis sa electronics kay windmill man.. so nag buhat sila ug windmill nga wood..


sa amo nga case.. pag laminate lang murag LVL Laminated Veneer Lumber.. dili ni prone sa warping..

ang g gamit nila ato tung una kay mahogany ra man to.. pero kung nahan ka imported aw medyo mahal gyud na..

gamit nalang ug grinder pag buhat lang ug disk plate nga ma butangan ug liha.. gamit lang ug liha nga 80 grit sharo.. pero naa sad lain paagi gamit mo ug jigsaw para dili mo mag sigi ug grind..

ang sa finish ni siya daugon.. para sad dili bokbokon.. pero I am assuming nga for view lang ni dili ni for flying.. hehehe naa ko na hibaw.an nga wooden propeller murag american man guro to.. yellow ang color sa tumoy tumoy.. pangitaon nako to sa net.. so far mao ra na ako ma suggest

Kung gamiton nimo sa eroplano gyud.. hmmm.. kulbaan ko ug basin mo shatter lang na ug kalit.. gamit nalang gyud mo ug imported nga kahoy.. naa ko nakita nga wood species nga available ra ni locally redwood and basswood check nalang sa mga lumber yards.. check sa first page naay mga numbers didto sa akong mga kaila before.. then try if naa sila available ana..

ako g search ang Charles Lindbergh nga wooden propeller pero wala man ko nakita.. but famous na sya nga event sa prehistoric war.. basta mao nana.. eheheh

di jud gamiton pang flying. may mapasa purposes lang ni sya sir. hehehe giingnan mig lawaan or gemelina lang daw na wood kay humok. kay i believe.. mano2x ang pag porma ani kay murag wala miy electric grinder sa school.. (walay koi nakita)

i will look for a person who can help you with that.. okie dokie?? print a blue print or plotted full scale drawing.. then just prepare the plan and I'll look my best subordinate before in my department then you two discuss..

thanks for the referral sir. but murag ako lang sa na sila e.reserve para sa model plane na amo project for next semester. they can help a lot on that. maglisud man gud ko mag patabang buhat aning propeller kay murag di ma take home. pero ako tan awon if pwede ba. for the mean time, i'll produce lang sah ug scale drawing para ma assess sad nnyo. =) lamat kau sir.

Anyone know where I can buy cloth backed sandpaper / abrasive paper in various grits? I tried looking at Belmont and Cebu Home Depot but they only have 3M wet/dry which will tear pretty fast. I need it for my Rotary tools.
