A PAST LOVE

I have not seen you in years
Up to this time I am in tears
What have you done to my heart?
You have torn it apart
I never had a chance to say goodbye
If I were able to I would die

Treating me the way I want to
Is a simple thing to do
But you don’t even know what to do

In the future we will bump into each other
I don’t know if I will still have the feeling
for you like no other

Forever is not true
For your love is untrue
If your love was true
You would not leave me
If your feelings were true
You would not hurt me

my summer

you only visit once
with love and romance
you bring so much fun
to me and to everyone

oh, my, how i love you
though you only stay for a month or two
and made the people happy
yet sometimes lonely

but whatever the consequences may be
you will always be a great friend of me
though we have to see once a year
i wont cry a tear
because you'll be back next year..

As if by magic
you came into my ife
cleanse away the tears
wash away the pain
colour my world
with tenderness and love
so magical
so precious
this feeling you brought
back into my life
every moment spent
is priceless
unforgetable memories
shared every moment
you came so suddenly
caught me unaware
but what a nice surprise
your presence is in my life

My day seems perfect
When I see you there
A miles away
A glimpse to see
Even if I long to touch you
But somethings holding me back
For you’re so fragile to touch
So high and mighty
I couldn’t reach you
For you’re the stars up above
And I’m the earth down below
Our world are far too different
And to become one we find no way
So I just sat here
Wishing, dreaming, hoping
That someday I can reach you
The star up above me

Perfect Imperfection

I am a contradiction
a perfect imperfection
On looking in from outside
I think I’d pass inspection

My nails are neat, each hair in place
My clothes the latest styles
But look a little closer,
And you can see my trials

The window to my balanced soul
Is stained from too much smoke
A birds eye view down at my heart
Will clearly show it’s broke

My best intentions lead to pain
And complicated messes
My head is filled with wishes,
My decisions second guesses

There was a time I tried to hide
each wrinkle, scar and tear
But I’m learning to appreciate
That I’m more than I appear

Each wrinkle tells a story
The path from there to here
I’ve earned a little wisdom
With every falling tear

My soul will soar in brilliant skies
But then I’ll need to rest
The embers of my passion
Still smolder in my chest

Perhaps I’ll let my hair go wild
And skip the manicure
I’ll wear my favorite color
They’ll say "Hey, look at her"

My hair, my heart, my clothes, my soul
Will walk in one direction
No longer contradicting
My perfect imperfection

Afternoons and Lifetimes

I was making stories
Out of lines in my palm
Under the cooling winds
I found a momentary rest
Reviewed some details in it
And divided it into two
One: Things that I have to
And Two: Things that I love to
I had so much fun thinking
That I lost track of time
But hunger reminded me of my clock
So I stood up
Out of my contemplation
And moved on to prepare:
To live the life I have to
For my family and loved ones who is depending on me
And doing something I loved to
Spending the afternoons and lifetime with you

for me love is just an impression
it will soon to be neglected when reason is to put into use

I am cold and precise
I am a cold blooded reptile

I can analyze, commit, & triumph over

all of myself is about strategies and perfection
I am myself
no one can deceive me

all this comes to an end
but for me reason wont keep me warm tonight.
