Kamusta naman mo diri mga bai? Interesting ni inyo topic about outsourcing. Mao gyud ni dako nga issue sa vfx industry pud pero business is business kung baga. Pero daghan kaayo factors ngano mga studio mamili asa ang project mo adto. Tax breaks in certain countries draws more projects to that specific country and gives a lot of jobs to numerous studios and artists in that area. At the same time it draws talent from around that region to that area as well. It all boils down to profit gyud. As an artist pud, mangita pud ka ug paagi nga asa ang mga nindot nga project didto pud ka mo adto. Common kaayo na sa industry nga kada project mag ilis2x gyud ug mga crew ang mga studios. Mga every 2 - 5 years balhin nasad lain studio Kung pinas ato storyahan, Manila gyud ang mecca sa animation. Hinay pa nuon ang growth pero at least naa gihapon ug naka sustain sa ila negosyo miski crisis.

Woah! Congratulations Gemcadz! I can only imagine how you felt when you heard that Rango won.

I'm still studying Animation but I'm very passionate about it. It's great that Manila has a lot of animation studios. I hope Cebu's animation community will grow as well!

daghan salamat bai! nasuklian na gyud amo kahago ana nga project. yep naa nasad lain project padung pero early stage pa mi ron. As what the article says nag hiring sad ang companya ug mga artist ron kay gamay pa ang crew kompara sa rango.

its good to see your enthusiasm bai. just keep learning what you can off the internet and video tutorials. by the way feng zhu's school is here in singapore and not malaysia. They are also tied up with 3dsense Media School here in singapore, both schools are known for the talents they produce but the courses are quite expensive especially if your a foreign student.

Wow! Ka nindut ani nga thread about animation oi! Daghan kaayo ug mga informative articles nga gi pang post ni Ramini, da best! Keep the good articles coming! Ug congrats sad kang Gemcadz for the great work he has done in Rango, idol!
Interested sad kaayo ko sa animation since bata pa ko. It's a bit sad though nga wla jud kaayo na nurture ang animation industry sa Cebu; there are a good number of good illustrators in Cebu who could've easily picked up how to animate in 2D traditionally or digitally. There are also promising 3D animators that could've had improved a lot if there was enough resources such books and a community of animators who are willing to share their knowledge and are kind enough to put their big egos aside.
I heard nga naa na daw animation course sa UC.. Anyone know if they have a good curriculum?
