You can start with a pair of parakeet or african lovebird. It's up to you to decide whether you'll get a young or matured. In my case, I'll get the matured so I could breed them though it will cost a little bit higher compared to young. Feeding is easy since you'll only put feed once that is good for the whole day. If you want to jumpstart your learning, i suggest you browse the net for the specific bird you want to own and study the caresheet. You can also join our club, Cebu Avian Society to meet and learn from other breeders.
