CEBU, Philippines - Most public utility vehicle drivers in Mandaue City welcome the new re-routing scheme as the city demolished two illegal terminals along M. C. Briones national highway.

Romeo Bargamento, president of the Mandaue United Drivers Association expressed delight the illegal terminals are gone, which means the customary P40 paid to barkers is now history.

Bargamento said the flow of traffic from the northern portion of the city particularly near the Pacific Mall down to San Miguel Corporation in barangay Tipolo is now smooth.

The re-routing was designed to decongest traffic and to help mall goers have direct access to J Centre mall at A. S. Fortuna Street in barangay Banilad. (FREEMAN)

ni sakay jud ko jeep yesterday. ambot kinsa mga drivers gi panginterview ani na happy sila with the rerouting. happy trolling. grabe kaayo traffic sa as.fortuna. specially sa intersection sa jcenter and maghuot sa bakilid/marpa intersection. magkatawa nlang ang mga jeepney drivers kay binuang kuno ni na rerouting.

yes traffic flow sa gaisano to san miguel kay smooth. but as.fortuna kay from worst to damn impossible na jud. i wont put a smiley on that news. specially if ur not riding a jeepney. from mandaue to ayala 1 hr ra man unta na. karon na himo naman 2 hrs. kung private car ka hayahay sa tanan hayahay. pero kung jeepney ambot nalang jud. swerte kaayo ko gahapon ni init.

nauli ko ron pinas nya naa mi stay sa balay sa ako in-laws sa mandaue, wala man japun kausaban, walay side walk. ug naa man gani sidewalk, mga motorcycle ang mo agi nya if makasugat ug pedestrian mao pay kusog mo sirbato.
