So therefore mas nindot if dako ang power sa amp kaysa sa sub? Thank you guys sa ideas.
Another question. If wala koy amplified seps, dili maayo ang 2 12" subs? Or unsa?
Its better to have a separated amp for your Seps to maximize and reach their potential and a big amp to power the subs![]()
Having extra power is better since we can control the gain then pushing the amps to their limits that might cause to overheat or send some thd ( total harmonic distortion ) to the speakers or subs and might lead to frying the voice coils![]()

copy/paste sa usa ka source:
As an amp is turned up closer and closer to its maximum level, the level of distortion increases. So the idea is that if you are using say a 50 watt amp and have to turn it up near its max to achieve the level of loudness you desire, it is working real hard to reproduce the waveform accurately and may clip. That is why it is better to have an amp with greater power than you will actually need.
While many people point to this rule as justifcation for big amps, you can just as easily blow your speakers with a high powered amp. Feed those 100 watt capable speakers 200 watts of clean power (no clipping) and you could fry the speakers too.
Speakers have a lot more distortion than amps, and most speakers have much more distortion the louder you play them. This makes it very hard to tell when an amp is clipping, and a few days later maybe you notice some of the tweeters don't tweet.
In actual practice, very powerfull amps rarely damage the speakers, with a few exceptions they just blow or fry the speakers. The main exception being really loud low bass which can just tear up some woofers in ported designs, or fry them in sealed boxes.
Kung powerul kaayo ang amps or higher power sa sub, ari nalang na daugon sa level matching to prevent clippings... hehe
Measure the Amp voltage using a tester to get the balance in each channel. If the main gain is increase, Thus one channel is too high there might be a chance one of the voice coil might get fry if using a pair of speakers or a single dual voice coil sub if it reaches its peak rating.![]()
ask lang ko mga bossing:
