i have nothing against kobe, the Lakers or their die hard fans but it was 1 game and they were playing the Mavs, it wasn't even the playoffs. i'll wait til jan 29 and mar 6 2006 when the Lakers play the Pistons and the Spurs respectively before i jump out of my couch and join the Lakers' bandwagon, and that would never ever happen. on a 7 game play-off series, i'll put my money on the Mavs straight up coz i know kobe can't duplicate the same feat in 4 straight games just as t-mac faded in the play-offs last year. kobe can't always carry the Lakers on his back "specially this year" where they still have a lot of work to do, a lot of holes to fill. and still a long way in perfecting the triangle offense. the Lakers team right now is just kobe, lamar and phil.... the team even have a new nick "Kobe's" instead of "Lakers"... and that says a lot..

Of course you dont have to be a sports genius to know that they have a lot of work to do. They might even miss the playoffs again this year, but hey what can i say im a Lakers fanatic, im with the team playoffs or not. I cheered for them during the 90's with van exel, ceballos ug kinsa gani tong mga kauban niya? hehehe Like I said dili manko sipsip maski pa ma no win ang lakers hehehe. And Kobe, being a Laker, is currently my man! and what a feat 62 in 33 minutes! waaaaaa! The game for greg anthony as well as mine, demonstrates his greatness... bow!

Lakers still have a long way to go, but theyre starting to do well now. Kobe is shooting better, the team is starting to get used to the Triangle and theyre starting to play better defense. Theyre definitely better this year than last year and hopefully theyll be able to get to the Playoffs prove all those critics wrong.

Kobe isnt like T-mac who just fades away and quits, e.g. Orlando Magic, Kobes is very determined, the Mavs game was an example of that. After a very annoying loss to the Rockets, he got so fired up he scored 62, SIXTY-TWO points! I almost felt sorry for the Mavs, ALMOST! Hes also the best dressed player in the NBA.

the Lakers game against the Pistons and the Spurs is still a month or so from now, we'll just watch the christmas day showdown between them and the Heat. maybe then we'll get a glimpse of the once team mates Shaq and Kobe getting on it.. watch out for D Wade.. :mrgreen:
