the question in my mind is unsa man jud rason sa no wang2x policy kung ang Presidential convoy gihapon diay ang naay right of way in traffic?

Do you guys know what the "wang2x" is for? dili na siya para lang mag-saba2x. It is to let the other people in traffic know that someone (perhaps an authority personnel) has priority over any of the lanes incoming or outgoing, unless occupied na when the vehicles are stopped. Katong policy ni PNoy nga di mag-gamit ug wang2x, that should mean that he and his convoy is to be treated like any other motorist--that is they have no right-of-way above anybody in traffic. I have argued time and time again why that policy is stupid, especially since it CONFLICTS with the idea of Presidential security. remove that stupid policy. Ang sweeper sad, naa manay wang2x sauna pud. And thanks to the stupid policy, confusion ray mahitabo. Bogo ang police kay wala siya nipadaplin after gipahibaw siya, pero bogo sad ang policy. Casually or in-emergency, dapat naa nay wang2x ang officials. Call it abusado or not, but they are authority. Naa ra nah nila if mag-abusar sila or di.

You know how dangerous it would be for the president and the motorists in the road if there were to be some kind of emergency in which the president needed a quick exfil? Samot na ug walay wang2x.

bai, Noynoy implemented the policy on the sole purpose that he or any other public official are not given VIP treatment just because they hold those positions. That's why the policy is dumb. They're supposed to have VIP treatment, otherwise national security risk na nah! Mao bitaw tong na-late siyag kapila sa sugod sa iyang termino. And it turns out his convoy still expects the same VIP treatment. The 'No Wang-Wang Policy' will only confuse and conflict with the Presidential Security doctrine. Seriously, I don't want authority figures abusing their sirens, but I would hate the inconsistency of the policy and its implementation even more.
