    Thanks, Madredrive!

    Dubby, these are the activities that i'm thinking for this gathering:

    1. Exhibit our rigs. I encourage everyone to bring their own rigs. Likewise, i expect dubby to showcase his turntables hehehe.

    2. A little bit tutorial on the digital djing like; using DJ software (e.g. Traktor, Virtual DJ etc.) Maybe i'll prepare a module to share my little knowledge about this thing

    3. Mixing session. Encourage everyone to showcase their skill. Don't shy, everybody's respect is highly appreciated. We're not music professionals here (but professional by attitude) so simple mixing will make us fun.

    4. Dubby will showcase his oldies but goddies hard kicking bass stomping Trance music. And likewise, everyone should participate, any genre of music is most welcome, from hip-hop to even hardcore metal will do. DJ's are music lovers, so we will get rid the music boundaries.

    5. Drinks, fun, drinks, fun

    Dubby and everyone, if you have something to add, please do so

    @partymix: mao bah.. ehhehe..

    i have found out diay recently nga by lowering the graphics or the performance level of windows7 by going to the control panel and adjusting it to "For best performance"
    mas mo pas pas ang reaction time sa controllers..

    mao ako gibuhat and significantly na reduce or nawala na ang mga bumps or glitches sa songs nga akong i pang load, and mas ning pas pas ang virtual dj. ^_^

    Exactly, you need to optimize your laptop for DJing, since the default set-up is for general use wherein unnecessary "services" on the background is more active that can cause audio drop-out.

    These are my tips:

    1. If you are using Windows 7, please follow the steps mentioned in Windows 7 Tuning Tips for audio processing

    2. I have this bat file to remove unnecessary services for full audio and controller advantage. You can download the bat file @ DJ Optimaztion.txt

    3. As recommended, the laptop used for DJing should be freed up from unnecessary applications. Only your DJ software and the audio driver should be installed. To do this, dual booting is effective. First boot is for DJing and the second boot for your regular use like internet browsing, encoding etc. Please see this link DJ TechTools *|* Optimizing Windows for DJing – Part II (Dual Booting) as guide on how to set-up dual booting.
