nope...still on ban p gyd ang travel to iraq. lisud gyd daw ddot coz almost every week naa gyuy mggubat and casualty.
Maoh2 ! Kung naay laing nasud ka-aaplyan then I would not recommend to our dear kababayans to come to work to Iraq.
Medyo, in doubt baya mi aneng employment opportunities kunohay sa Iraq kay ngano man lage ila mga citizens gaantos pa man ug agwanta ug panrabaho diri sa mg neighboring gulf countries.
Maski gamay ra ang genadawat nga sweldo.
I'm talking about below minimum wage earners.
Makes me wonder why instead of employing expats to work in Iraq they should get their citizens employed first.
Security wise, yes dili na kaayo tanto delikado kumpara sa una. Though naa may ginagmay nga mga tribal clashes pero medyo political lang siguro.

@miramax, di man siguro ing ana ka gubot didto. Ang brother sa akong friend used to work in iraq and safe man daw sila didto. Sakto ka when you said nga naay mga tribal clashes kay mao ra man gyud na ang naka cause sa kagubot sa iraq. Most people man gud thinks nga the reason ngano unsecured sa iraq is because of terrorism, but actually dili na ang case didto.
for me lang sad, kung mahatagan ug security and assurance ang atong government sa working conditions didto sa mga ofws...so GO!!! Sayang sad oi, daghan baya nangita ug trabaho diri.
Regarding sad sa work sa Singapore, Taiwan and Malaysia. Lahi man ang needed nga jobs didto. Lahi lahi man gyud ang requirements sa industry.
Sis, I understand your predicament.
The knowledge that I shared with the current situation in Iraq is based on facts and figures.
Every week naay suicide bombing occurences.
Kunsabagay pagaingnon pa swerte2 ra man na.
I'm not against lifting the ban, what I'm saying is if naay laing kapilian much better.
I'm concern on the remuneration package that Iraq can offer for the fact that daghan man kaayo pa Iraqi unemployed if not ga-antos ug gamay sweldo.
If they really have a wide range of job opportunities with a good pay in your own country why go abroad?
You must be refferring to U.S. non-combat troops.

naa man gyud choices bro. but in terms of opportunities, the more doors ang mo open the more choices for us. regarding the local jobs sa iraq, i dont think their people are as skilled as our workforce. So plus points nalang for us also kay that means they recognize our skills.
