I am not, in any way, accusing you nga nagpataka lang ka ug post ug negative publicity sa accenture. This is a public forum where we should voice our concerns. I understand nga medyo sakit sa part sa employee if ang imo employer inani ang asal. However, don't get me wrong, but naa man tong inani nga issue before katong naay mga agens nga wala ma-regular, nya medyo nag-sour graping... inani nga mga istorya ang hinggawas.

To the best of my knowledge, sufficient ang knowledge sa HR. Satisfied ra ko when i was still in the Cebu office. And so are my colleagues.

Naa koy question sa imo: ang kani nga experience ba, from an agent ni sya nga directly under sa accenture? OR, contractor ni cya from a certain AGENCY? Kay if from agency ni, i think dili man ang accenture tingali ang naay problema ani - but ang agency. Ang accenture, ngadto gyud na mo-pay sa agency. In return, ang agency ang mo sweldo sa contractors. If mutubag man ang HR nga 'basin sa next batch' - basin wala pud siya idea gyud.

    Those are my cents.
Hi. Thank you sa pagrespond. Actually, I was one of the contractual agents - but dili mi through an agency. Directly hired by the company mi. Wala naman naghire ug agency ang accenture siguro so the company (Accenture) is our direct employer. Actually lahi ra kaayo ang offers sa solutions compared to BPO. That means dili equal ang company. When my friend asked me to check on my PhilHealth contributions kay wala daw niya nakita ang contributions sa PhilHealth from Accenture (and she's so sad about it), I immediately went to PhilHealth coz ako mismo wa sad ko katuo na wa jud pud nila na gi-remit ang money. So I went there, got my MDR, and sadly I found out that wa gyud nila na-submit ang amo contributions. I could not believe it sa tinuod lang kay sa akong pagkahibawo, Accenture is a big company and I know that they're so honest when it comes to paying taxes, etc.(or as what they've been telling us).

As I've read the comments from the IT solutions peeps, okay gyud kaayo ang company, but not with BPO. It's so sad gyud. Most of us did not get what we should be getting (like OT pay, MATA). It is not about sour-graping, it's a relief na wala na gani ko sa company but I am just sad na ingon ani ang nahitabo. In fact, I have a friend nga na-regularized siya sa company and she's not happy with her decision kay wala man gihapon klaro ang benefits.

I am not accusing everybody from HR, there are some of them who are very nice and are performing their jobs well. Ang among dili ganahan kay ang pagrespond sa amo sa HR staff named Marife Camasura. Everytime we asked questions to her regarding our pay, bisan unsa na lang iyahang itubag. She will say she's taking down notes regarding our concerns but there are no updates whatsoever. I understand that she's busy but she needs to take our concerns seriously sad, dili kay hatagan lang mi ug assurance kunuhay when mi makakuha sa among bonuses but when payday comes, wala lang gihapon diay. Dili mi seryosohon bah, wala-walaon lang - like delaying tactics until malimtan. Ingon lang ka "Basin sa next batch".

This is just simply informing everyone what we've noticed sa company and what we've experienced. This is like a reference for the decision making for those who really wanted to know or to check on the company's profile/background.

Ang maayong buhaton sa company is to re-evaluate their HR personnel. And to find the right people fitted for the job, dili kay kadtong mga tawo na hinay kaayo mutrabaho, unya-unyaon ra ang work. I think they have professionalism issues that they need to addressed to. We're doing our jobs well as employees but we're not well-compensated. Mas maayo pa gyud ang sa solutions kay maayo pa ang benefits, but sa BPO - good luck na lang.

I am sad to read this.
I dont know the lady you mentioned [i am not in the Cebu office since August of 2008 til now]. Haven't heard her name yet.

As for the benefits, dili man pud tingali nimo ma-compare ang solutions vs BPO kay unique man na every types of business sa accenture.

I know some pipz nga same course nimo. Yup. Hiring is for CEBU office (ASEs).
    Naa mi cebu work
Anyway, I would advise you to go walk-in and present your resume. COz the HR rep will give you a profile sheet that you need to fill out after you submit your resume to them.
We're located at Pioneer Building, Cebu Business Park (Near Ayala Terminal). Just inform the guard on duty that you're applying for Accenture (Solutions), for Associate Software Engineer (ASE) position. Good Luck and God Bless! =) Visit the HR office (Mon-Thurs) (9AM-3PM)

@missymisu... Its really sad to hear your story, what you've been through. I think I've met the HR you've mentioned above. (I think so). hehe. Anyways, I just want to share my insights about this.
Life itself is full of imperfections. There is no such thing as a perfect Company, even those top companies like Microsoft have their imperfections, criticisms here and there.
It's a wide battlefield out there, a survival of the fittest. You have to be very tough to survive. It's just sad to know that some people do unethical, unrighteous things just to get to the top, or they're just simply insensitive to other people/co-employees. Moving on, It is still up to you to wisely plan your career path with much consideration with your working environment. You have all the right to let your voice be heard and do some actions about it. But if the "evil ones" are still very persistent, then It would be best for you to take another route, change of plans, and perhaps search for greener pasture to other companies. Let the "dark" past be a lesson learned. Anway, you get wiser and stronger everytime you face these life's challenges.
Let KARMA do its part. hehehe... kidding.. Anyways, Justice will always prevail in the right time. Good Luck in your endeavors! Cheer up Life is still beautiful despite its grey areas.

@urejiak - the HR personnel mentioned by missymisu is the BPO HR Rep and she's been with the company for more than 2 years already. So, I think you have met her already, maybe you know her by face.

@missymisu - thank you for raising your concerns.. it was also good to know the side of the BPO folks.. for the benefits, i think each workforce in Accenture has different/unique benefits..
