akosipanukat, im from CDO pero working in Cebu. bro, pls dont count your chickens before they hatch kasi baka ma disappoint ka lang. just post the article or the proposal for them to have an idea.

Just want to clarify, not all from CDO have the same attitude and i believe not all from the other city have the same attitude also so dont use "hambog kaau mo".

I love CDO kay small city ra sya, simple but progressive. i dont want to compare it to Davao because each one of us has its own right and I say for me CDO is the best.

Ok lang kaayo ko bai, ayaw lang kasuko kung sulti ko sa TINUOD. Kung tsada para sa imoha nang LKK, Glorietta, whatever ek-ek, medyo layo ra kaayo na sa ako mga nakit-an na unya di man tinuod jud na tsada nang LKK, HYPE ra man na ninyo mga taga CDO. I-compare pa nimo sa uban Ayala Malls nga bisan unsaun di man jud ma compare na, haskang layua sa biya ba bisan unsaun pa pagsukod.

Bisan sa Davao wa man ko ganahi gihapon sa mga malls didto bisan daghan kaayo sila ug malls. Sa CDO pipila ra man intawon kabuok inyo malls, 2 lang man kabuok.

Maayo pa dire sa akong lugar, WALAY MALLS!!! Limpyo, hapsay, malinawon unya healthy living kay puro presko ang gulay, organic pa!

UNO: nindot ang KETKAI. mall na MALL jud! with working GYM-LIKE area where Northern mindanao noontime SHOWS and sunday MASS happens!! if mag sale ang usa ka boutique, CHAIN REACTION dayun! damay pa uban malls nga WALKING distance ra gyud kung huna hunaon! Limketkai Mall, Robinson's Mall[Connected na mismo sa Ketkai kaorn], Ororama Megacenter and Gaisano Mall. jeepney away ang SM ug uban pang malls sa Ororama and Gaisano[colon area - Supermarket sa CDO]
DOS: Ang ketkai naay ROSARIO arcade which is sort off UNIQUE and i believe halos mao na ang motiff nga similar sa THE TERRACES sa ayala karon dri sa sugbo.
TRES: Did you know that the FIRST MCDONALDS outside metro manila kay ang Mcdonalds dha sa Ketkai?? believe it or not! ingon ana nga progressive ang cagayan de oro! Same with BIGBY's and i think ang JONIE's sab. Una sab nagka Kenny Roger's didto kaysa CEBU!
KWATRO: Cagayan de Oro SM Mall got the most ACCUMULATED openning day income in the WHOLE mindanao region. defeating DAVAO by more than half of SM DAVAO's openning sale! With that remark, mas naila ang CDO sa commercial sector. it gave way for AYALA to rethink about cagayan de oro. There are PLENTY of RICH people in Cagayan...
CINCO: Cagayan de Oro is the most Peaceful if not SAFEST city in northern Mindanao. And i would agree! havent heard any WAR happening there at ALL!! not even Christian VS Muslim war which is fairly common sa neighboring cities like ILIGAN and PAGADIAN. I think its because daghan Schools with quality education, are open to all/ Non-Sectarial! like my alma mater CORPUS CHRISTI SCHOOL which i <3 so dearly! wide array of diversity offers unity
ZAIS: CDO PORT[sea] was proclaimed the CLEANEST by Pres. GMA. forgot the year. basta same year when she came to visit. CDO winning is weird since dli stricto ang CDO compared sa DAVAO.

cagayan de oro is NOT SMALL!! its just that and industrial area isnt spread out much yet! but from the looks of it, it will soon happen INEVITABLY.

most factories are already spread out, sooner or later mag METRO CAGAYAN na na within 5 administrations!! Sure ko ana!

San Miguel Corporation is prolly one of the biggest companies here in the philippines, and theyre factory for CDO is in El Salvador, Mis. Or. border town, not part of CDO. speculations say that El Salvador might become a city as soon as it reached the income generation Requirement for a City. same goes to Tagoloan, Mis. Or. border town, not part of CDO. since the 2nd INTERNATIONAL SEA PORT is located there[2nd to Metro Davao]. not to Mention that there are other BIG companies who resides there!! Naming SOME. PLDT, SWIFT, Steniel[paper factory, known for school stuff paper pads]. Even Petronas used to be there... now in GUSA.

border cities ARE impossible... kay mahimo na ng METRO...
Lapasan, where Ketkai, Ororama and Robinsons are Located would soon become a City since it has reached the income generating Requirements already.

this is not HYPED. this is expecting the INEVITABLE. INEVITABLE = unstoppable posibility
