No classes naman gani akong anak ron nga March 22, unya unsay naka EXTENDED ana?

As for the payment sa exams, on time man ko sir. Which is by the way against the Deped Circulation requiring all schools private/public to have students take exams during exam dates).

Pina announce announce pa nga January maka balik na ug full day classes but until now wala gihapon. Nag bayad intawon ko in full payments for the entire school year unya from third grading to end of school year BUNTAG ra ang klase. So to summarize that is NOVEMBER, DECEMBER, JANUARY,FEBRUARY,MARCH (5 months of half day classes). Unya among gibayran nga tuition kay FULL DAY for the entire year.
Sad to say.. Disappointed pd ko dri.. i thot i was d only 1.. Big mistake nga ala nko gi SHSB akng bata nga dd2 mnta ko gkan.. Mluoy lng jd ko ky mingla amoa den canduman nah cla so I made the decision to enroll him in this institution.. After 6yrs, seems like he's changed.. Yes, we parents have something to do about it but shouldn't it be a 2way street? Both parties working hand in hand for the development of the kid.. But sad to say, it didn't met my expectation..

Im looking into DBTC right now and that's why I'm here trying to research about the institution..

Hopefully we'll be able to make the best decision for my kid going forward.. Either he stays or will transfer..

Sacred Heart School - Hijas de Jesus (?)
Used to be called SHS - Girls. Best school in Cebu, IMHO. They install morals and discipline while encouraging free thinking.

I've also met a lot of good students from Don Bosco. They tend to be better at Math and Science than kids from other schools.

For me, St. Benedict Childhood Education Center for Elementary. I've noticed that students from that school excel in other schools when they move on to highschool and college. Subjects na difficult for most students when I was in highscool and college were quite easy for St. Ben grads.

The school is small, so everyone is like family in there when i went to college, they were wondering why our English skills were very good, it is because i can proudly say that we were trained so Try inquiring B.R.I.G.H.T.! You'll see how close everyone is with everyone

Hi Cheska! Glad to read your comment, my daughter graduated last Mar. 2015 from CSN-A (Kindergarten) and now that she's an incoming Grade 1(June 2015), I'm planning to enroll her in a Public School, since private schools are really expensive, probably City Central or Guadalupe Elem Sch since both are one ride from our place. May I ask at what month are they giving the qualifying exam for the Science class? Is it upon enrollment, which by this year, I read will start this coming May 18? or she needs to be enrolled first before she can take the qualifying exam for Science class for incoming Grade 1? And may I ask what is SREA? Pasensiya na 1st time mother here who single-handedly raising a child, hope u can shed light on these, and if you can share some pointers on how I can prepare my daughter on this exam, thank you...

Actually in the regular class, there are still pupils who are fast learners but it is heterogeneous arrangement, meaning, it is a mix set up, and some kids are bullies especially those who grow up in a not so ok place... There is a qualifying exams in the special science class. Usually qualifying exams are in grade one and in grade three... Special science classes are advanced and they have lots of projects, assignments, etc... So i guess, if your kid is good enough then he/she can pass the qualifying exams.

another thing, not all kids are allowed to take the qualifying exams, he/she must excel in the regular class or if she/he is in grade one, she must pass the SREA, much better if she/he can read 4 letter words before enrolling in grade one.

    Hope this helps...
