For me bro, i'd stick na lang usa sa imong current 7-series card & if you wanna upgrade to DX10 cards, get the GTX or wait for the new cards expected to be released daw this year. Besides, la pa man kaayo DX10 games/apps as of the moment.

pareha ta sauna bro na in ana sad ako fan sa videocard. Ako man 2 gipa shop then ingon sila ila daw gibutangan oil paramotuyok nasad kay na harus na daw. Pero ila sa i tang2x ang fan usa nila gi applyan oil.

Ya lage...sockets 939 & 754 and other lower sockets are being stopped na production...but sa pinas, those are the current sockets man of most users.
Marketing issues ni basically, out with the old, in with the new...para mapugos ta mu-upgrade to what is latest (in other words, mugasto to change everything).
