iLike it and iWant it. Problem is iCan't have it right now. It will prolly take a good year or so for it to become available here in NZ. But no worries, at least Apple got time to sort things out with Vodafone on getting it 3G compatible. So I'll just stick to my old and trusty Samsung for the time being.
To Markyap and Zirv:
C'mon guys chill. No need for the name calling indeed. It's just a bloody phone. Not the second coming of Jesus.

"you really can't go to any mainstream site on the iPhone and expect to glean useful information from it without dragging, double tapping, pinching, and unpinching your way around. Zooming in on a page produces an interesting transient display artifact: everything looks really fuzzy for just a moment, as though you've overzoomed on a low-resolution picture."
so much for the true internet experience...tsk tsk...

Bottomline is:
You want everything to work in an iphone for FREE.....
Apple is in the business of making money....
The same as your business..... and even anyone's business..... I haven't ecountered a business that is meant to lose money....
You can complain all you want that the iphone is crippled..... Its all about the $$$$$
At the end of the day its just BUSINESS.....
and also please stop claiming everyone agrees with you.......
again who would I believe....
The reviews are all over the net....
its a matter between someone who has handled the iphone OR some who has NOT....
Ahh yeah.. I am bias towards myself.. consider this your final warning.Originally Posted by Zirv
In the US, the iPhone will work exclusively with the Cingular/AT&T network, and Apple may build technical restrictions into the iPhone so that you cannot use it with any other phone company. Consequently, I seriously doubt that an iPhone bought in the US will work in Japan (unless you mean support for different mobile phone standards, which the iPhone does offer, as it's a quad-band device, working with 850, 900, 1800, and 1900 MHz GSM networks).
However, Apple has announced that the iPhone will be officially released in Asia in 2008. If you live in Asia, I'd rather wait til the Asian version is available.
