I'm not sure if Saddam Hussein's invasion of Kuwait counts.. remind lang ta ka kay basin nakalimot na ka..

Kanang problema sa Mindanao complicated kaayo na. Ancestral domain is only a small part of the bigger picture. Kanang mga Moro na mu claim sila that they are neglected by the government is a big lie, its a big excuse.. Consider nimo ang interplay sa politics, corruption, and warlord mentality.

TS if you mind. refrain from using mindanao. instead used the exact location lng sa mindanao... mindanao is a whole lot bigger than cebu.. and not all of mindanao is gubot.

    And the vicious cycle continues:

    Skirmishes--->Ceasefire--->Peace Talks--->Skirmishes--->...

An endless cycle of violence.. Endless casualties on both sides.. The ultimate victim are the people of Mindanao.. Political leaders on both sides don't want to end the war. Where there is war, there is money and oppression. A culture of violence and fear is the best breeding ground of corruption..

We tried Peace Talks for almost 4 decades and it achieved NOTHING.

I support an all out war that was started by Bigote but discontinued by Pandak..

this is true. however if we *again* reignite an all-out war, as you are suggesting it would be the same as if we are saying that we support the culture of violence and fear.

you have laid the perfect reasons why there should be genuine peace talks to begin with. but advocating for an all-out war would simply continue the vicious cycle that you have expressedly pointed out.

and that would be one big shame.

on the contrary, this can become an avenue to explore options and solutions, and share insights about such problems. this is precisely why it's called a "forum" to begin with.

i will leave you a quote from Martin Niemöller

First they came for the communists,
    and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a communist.

Then they came for the trade unionists,
    and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews,
    and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a Jew.

    Then they came for me
and there was no one left to speak out for me.

OT: It does not count bai if we based that in history and it can be considered as Saddam's lost cause. Mao nay duha ka case sa Western Colonization bai, ang Mindanao bisan wala ma-colonize sa mga Katsila gi-apil nila ug baligya ngadto sa mga Amerikano while ang kuwait gibu-ak sa mga British gikan sa greater mesopotamiam kingdom which now known as Iraq. Now ang mga kuwaitis mismo mi-approved nga ma-separate sila sa Iraq under the British Protectorate unlike sa Mindanao nga gipugos ug integrate sa greater colonized Philippines bisan pa mismo ang mga natives sa Mindanao mibuhis sa ilang mga kinabuhi aron lamang dili sila ma-apil sa colonization ug bisan pa kung si King Humabon, Shiekh Atuuna ug si Rajah Soliman nabuntog sa mga banyagang mga Katsila, Mindanao is the Last Frontier of the Muslims kaso lang they were tricked and victimized sa Divide and Conquer method sa mga Katsila. Look at Sabah, duna bai nahimo ang Philippine government nga mismo ang mga tawo sa Sabah midumili man nga ibalik sila under the Philippine government. Lawom kaayo nang problema sa Mindanao bai mao na ako I advocate for Peace Talk, lami kaayo na hunahunaon ang all out war sa wala pa kasuway. In broader sense naa pud nay positive outcome ang nahitabo sa Mindanao kay karon ang mga Muslim mikatag na man nuon sa tibuok Pilipinas and that invalidate the claims nga war loving ang mga Muslims kay daghan kaayo kang makita nga maayong mga Muslims.
