Retaliation or not, the US did the guy a huge favor. He's been ill with disease for so many years. The guy was technically "dead". The "lifers" should just STFU.
Canada's original mission in Kandahar was to help the country on their rebuilding process and as a peace keeping forces , not invading the country .
Libya wasn't about Al-Queda linked terrorism , it was about the madman Kadafi and saving innocent people stuck in the line of fire .
It was pretty much what happened .
This is the only evidence that I can show ...
We had people there
Despite Canada's official position to stay out of Iraq, Canada, in fact, was contributing forces. There were about 100 exchange officers involved in technical support roles with the U.S and Britain.
(As well, although not publicly known at the time, the most senior Canadian officer, then brigadier general Walter Natynczyk, the current chief of defence staff, was involved in the planning of the invasion and led 10 brigades consisting of more than 35,000 soldiers in Iraq. He was awarded the Meritorious Service Cross for his efforts.)

In September 2001 after the September 11 terrorist attacks, Minister of National Defence Art Eggleton advised Governor General Adrienne Clarkson to authorize more than 100 Canadian Forces members serving on military exchange programs in the United States and other countries to participate in U.S. operations in Afghanistan.[citation needed] The operations were aimed at identifying and neutralizing al-Qaeda members in that country, as well as toppling the Taliban regime, which was claimed to be supporting international terrorism.
Forty Joint Task Force Two (JTF2) operators were sent to Afghanistan in December 2001, two months after the Minister of Defense, Art Eggleton, announced that Canada would be sending troops to Afghanistan to aid the removal of the Taliban.
hinuon bro luoy pud baya.. but if mapatay xa thru military attack, what do you think of the people on his side.. would they just sit back and watch? mas mau pa tingali to if nadakpan xa nya napreso atleast makaingon ta na he suffered for what he did.. and i really dont think na death of a person gives justice to what he's done.. though maka.uplift sa feeling sa mga relatives sa iya nabiktima.. but kuyaw man pud gud ug effect if ang iyang pagkapatay is through military force..
