the recommended suggestion is to use the same brand of glass/lens. Canon body pair with Canon Lens. the reason for this is that the technology used in creating the lens is patented by the manufacturer so what those third party companies do is they reverse-engineer the said lens so that they'll have an idea of how that lens was made/constructed. they will add in a few of their own proprietary tech to entice the consumers to buy their glass instead of the OEM ones which in most cases are more expensive than the third-party lens. Sigma, Tokina and Tamron are the three major brands who make third party lens for both Nikon and Canon mount.
its stated in the lens specs, but as stated above , reverse-engineering is used so there is no assurance that the third-party manufacturer can replicate the design of the OEM glass.
but nakabantay man gud ko na it would take 1 to 2secs para makafocus.. nya nghuna2 lang ko sa mga moving subjects like flying birds.. =(
