i wud have choosen the UH-60 Black Hawk, puede man ni sya convert to attack helicopter. Ubay-ubay man sad ang variants sa UH-60, depende sa need.

it can be used in peacekeeping, relief and humanitarian missions. i guess its a practical choice.

an attack helicopter is the better than a tank. Helis can go where tanks can't. Helis have a lower risk of being hit by an RPG

Can you please cite a specific example, from local newsfeeds/media, wherein the CPP/NPA, ABB, MNLF/MILF, or Abu Sayyaf, ever fired a shoulder-launched SAM towards a Philippine Air Force chopper or a/c ?

Nothing to do with the helicopters themselves. Apaches and Blackhawks have also been brought down by shoulder-fired missiles.
